Noory's schedule for his 50th JFK anniversary special tonight:
JFK Special XI
November 22, 1963 was the day the United States lost its innocence and, for many decades, we have been arguing about what really happened to our 35th President, John F. Kennedy. George Noory will be joined by a different guest each hour, Jim Marrs, Walt Brown, Ph.D., Jerome Corsi, and Robert Morningstar, to discuss the many theories about what occurred on this day 50 years ago.

Yeah I think George wants a TV show for some reason, I think he is even trying to get "experience" with Beyond Belief. I dont think anyone will hire him for a full time tv show mostly because he has shown how inept his in Beyond Belief. I think it back fired. His "show" had a bad infomercial feeling.
Noory has been trying that for years, with scifi channel pilots that didn't sell and cable on-demand specials...

I didnt know I needed to be asked to weigh in on an opinion forum? I am kinda new to the internet though and am still learning these things. Please forgive me.

Whats your name and where do you work BTW? Or are you ashamed of that information?

It's ok DP, I am the official internet monitor.  I hereby give you permission to speak.  Thus, it is so.   :D

That secret door schmaltz has got to be the dumbest thing I've heard.  It's like something from an old 50's variety show.  Combine that with those lame golden oldie ballads he loves as bumper music and I feel like I'm trapped in a dorky old-timey time warp.

So fish boy I keep asking...why won't you tell us what books you've authored?  Not proud of them?

I won't advertise or promote on MV's forum without paying him for it. And, yes, of course I have books I'm not proud of. A majority of them actually. Unless you're Stephen King, you can write what you want and starve, or write what you're told and eat.

Frow what I hear (I cound't bear the cringe factor so didn't see myself), he couldn't even handle that ten minute segment on the View.

Aw, man, someone shove that expensive microphone directly up the Nooron's ass & get it over with for the love of all that is sane.  Since I need my radio for other reasons and don't want to smash it, I'm afraid I won't be joining in the fun.

Used to hate what he did to something that was once great, now, I hate him personally.  I've always gotten the vibe that he's a closet satanist anyway, what with all the glee over tragic children stories.

Jorch shows up, goes through the motions, checks the blocks off, hoovers the suits during the day and keeps them happy, along with the number boys.  He's apparently enough to keep the Kardashian crowd tuning in and buying Carnivora.  C2C is just like most of the hundreds of channels available on TV.  Jorch "get's it."

In that sense, he does. He's Hollywood all the way. But, you know, you won't find copies of the Anomalist or the Fortean Times on the shelves at the grocery store. There's a reason for that. They won't sell to most people. The Enquirer does. It's sad, the cream should rise to the top, but it doesn't seem to rise to the top in very many areas of American culture anymore.

georgesucks

Just for everyone to know, I thinks that George Noory SUCKS and He sucks at quitting too. I wish he just ride off into the sunset.

No, not a charitable effort, but rather his profit level can be much less, and he's still valuable to the company.  I hear Carnivora and C. Crane advertised on other night time shows, such as Michael Savage.  As for affiliates, I'm sure there are lots of stations that would like to have the show

.  Other than Red Eye, there's not much else on live.  Coast would naturally pick the station that would give them the most potential listeners.  Overnight has relatively few listeners, just because it is overnight.

Regarding cost - let's speculate.  We once had a figure of $400,000 for George under his old contract.  Suppose a raise to $600,000 in the new.  Even living in LA, I doubt Tommy makes $80,000, but let's give him that.  About the same for Lisa Lyon.  I can't think of anyone else who would be working exclusively for Coast - the rest seem to be general Cheap Channel employees.  So, let's allocate $100,000 for the lot of them covering their time working for Coast.  Add satellite time, electricity, sales commissions, etc.  That means they're producing a national radio show for around a million dollars.  That's not a lot of advertising.

No way.

They all make way more than that.  At least double.   Jorch is over $1M.  tommy is in $180-$220k Lesbian Lyon same ballpark.

But honestly.  Who cares.  Someone is stupid enough to listen and someone is stupid enough to pay them.  Good for them.  It's the only thing about them that doesn't piss me off or anoy me, it's their pay.

*sigh* yeah, I am.  You busted me on that.
Yesterday's events are still too fresh to bear the sound of the Nooron tonight.
Will be looking forward to everyone's reports of the show.  I just.  Can't.

Me too.  I'm Noory-free, at least until Monday, when I will relent to the topics of time travel & Death Valley tales.  How long I will tolerate the Master of Mediocrity however, is an unknown at this point.

I'll be checking in tonight on Indie 104. Though I'll quickly tune out if I hear "Could it be angels?" when referring to the assassination plot.

I can't decide if I want to listen to this tonight or not.  Maybe I will for a bit and if it doesn't grab me, it's back to Ancient Aliens.

Please do. I for one would love to read something you've written. Unless its a late nite cook book?   If not please do tell if you don't  want it to be public knowledge please send me a pm. I don't think you ever named it before ? I will keep it to myself if you prefer. Who knows...imagine if you are a sci fi author that I already read and love, boy would I feel bad for busting your shoes and giving u a hard time eh?!

I too would like to read some of your stuff, SciFi. Seriously.

Man, I'm behind on this thread.

Unfortunately, when the bullet went into Noory's ears it kept going out the other side because there was nothing to stop it.

Hehe. George asked, "What stook..." before correcting himself and asking what stuck out.
