Two reasons why George's overhyped "Kennedy Special" didn't do it for me.  1.  No guest defending the lone gunman/magic bullet theory.  I would have loved to hear the other side on this.  All week I've been hearing on the mainstream media, from Rush Limbaugh to NPR, that there was/is no evidence to support a conspiracy.  What am I missing?  A debate would have been great.  2.  With four guest lined up, George still allotted time to take calls for each of them, giving then all the slam-bam thank you ma'am treatment they, and the subject matter, didn't deserve.  Jim Marrs and Jerome Corsi did what they could under the circumstances.  I'm not sure what Walt Brown's angle was.  Robert Morningstar had a good, commanding, delivery, but then he started talking about ufo's, and I don't think Kennedy was killed over ufo secrets.  Corsi mentioned that on the day of the assassination Oswald had three wallets.  One left at a friend’s house, one dropped at the Tibbet murder scene, and one in his pocket when he was arrested.  Gonna read a little more about that.  Weird.

Agree.  It was a much better show than those of recent past years where Madame Nhu- (Diem) of Vietnam was implicated (right up there with UFO secrets) and Dorothy Kilgallen was "suicided" because she "knew" who the real assassins were-- and was poised to reveal "all" in her next expose.

Let me get this right; (Hypothesis), if a guest goes on GN show he's crap, and GN is stupid for inviting them, yes? If that same guest went on AB's show (Assuming AB had a show of course), and AB is given the benefit of the doubt?

Yeah, makes sense if you suffer some disconnect in critical thinking.

I was merely pointing out that the guest made a fallacious statement as to the need to re-zero a weapon after disassembly and reassembly. Provided nothing affected the scope settings, the rifle would have been perfectly accurate after it was put back together. I don't care who the host was, I would have called BS on that guest's statement.

I doubt King George even heard it.  When the guest is talking, he turns his mic off real fast to gobble down a bite of a turkey sandwich.  He comes back and has to spout something.  "Is it poshabull the gun wash magic too?"

George has always emphasized that he's too nice to be confrontational which is a big cop out way of saying he's not interested in asking simple questions when a guest makes an outrageous claim. It's all about maintaining that facade of 'nice' because he's confused being nice with asking meaningful questions that could clear up misinterpretations or offer additional information. For me, it was casually accepting that interbreeding between humans and bigfoots can occur. I mean, really, what does it take to get him to ask a follow up question? Does the man have no WTF? moments on a show devoted to the paranormal?

Chesty...have a ? Are you USMC? I heard a comment the other... (if anyone knows please post answer?) as we all know the best rifle shots and the most stringent and strenuous requirements in our regular military forces today as to longarms training is in the USMC...the comment I heard was that where ever it was the Lee Oswald did his USMC basic training he either has or had held the record for the best and longest shot at the rifle range while he was there...every Marine a riflemen. Read the story of WWI and the USMC at Belleau wood in France...where they got the name "devil dogs." If any one without very specialized sniper training could have made those shots, IMHO it would have been a US Marine.
That show last nite was the epitome of the snoory suckatude.  Man he is such a dumb and stupid man. It was so disjointed I couldn't do it. The one guy Walt Brown, jotch kept saying he was an FBI agent but the guy kept saying he worked for the Justice Dept...DOJ.  Now while the fbi is part of the doj they have investigators that aren't fbi agent's and fbi agents are part of the doj...just one of the very confusing things that hurt his shows...no attention to any details at all. So Brown said that there was some old pistol instructor that couldn't make the tifle shots but he was an unbelievable guy with two six guns on his belt!!!???? So...? Such bullshit. If you are a great pistol shot it means you are a rifle expert sniper. It's the unqualified crap like that which makes c2c unlistenable.

I won't advertise or promote on MV's forum without paying him for it. And, yes, of course I have books I'm not proud of. A majority of them actually. Unless you're Stephen King, you can write what you want and starve, or write what you're told and eat.
So pm me the titles. ..I state here and now in public not to release any info you send me in private.  I am to understand that you write for a living like scripts etc or a poor suffering authour who has another job for the rent and to eat. I am being serious.  I'd like to read them.

I'll be checking in tonight on Indie 104. Though I'll quickly tune out if I hear "Could it be angels?" when referring to the assassination plot.
But what you will hear him say is..."I don't know iffish it was a coop or what but wes douche know that sumpthin happened. ...and I need to know the truff."

Oswald had two qualification scores for firing a rifle the first was 212, the second one was 191.

the scoring is rated as

220 to 300 is expert
210 to 219 is sharpshooter
190 to 209 is marksman

I have never heard anything about a record for longest shot.

They all make way more than that.  At least double.   Jorch is over $1M.  tommy is in $180-$220k Lesbian Lyon same ballpark.

But honestly.  Who cares.  Someone is stupid enough to listen and someone is stupid enough to pay them.  Good for them.  It's the only thing about them that doesn't piss me off or anoy me, it's their pay.
Whatever it is that they make...like I said before, they must go in on pay day wearing fucking masks...like in the old cartoon stick ups. Because be it a penny or a billion bucks its plain old robbery!

Yes, I was in the Marine Corps quite a while ago (1985-89). The course we shot then was known as the Known Distance or KD course and consisted of relays shot from 200, 300, and 500 yards. When I was in we qualified with the M16A1. I would guess Oswald qualified on an M1 Garand. I can't say what the qualifications were in the 1950's, but would guess they were similar to what I did. The phrase every Marine a rifleman is preached, and taken seriously, by the Marines. The longest shot taken in Dallas is estimated at 81 meters (about 88 yards). If he had a little time on weapon, the shot would have been very doable. The only factors that could effect that are time and the obvious pressure. I have never heard of Oswald holding a record for best or longest shot. From what I've read, he was pretty much a shitbird with some disciplinary issues and took an early out on a hardship discharge. Marines from his unit claimed he was not known for his marksmanship, but again the shots taken that day weren't overly difficult for someone with a little training.

As always, Valdez nails it. I was hoping for a debate as well.

I listened to this whole show until I finally gave in at 4 a.m. and took two precious Xanax from my stash of them. Insomnia is turning me into a C2C expert. And possibly a drug addict. Regardless, I should apply for Tommy's job. I'd probably be more alert. And I think I'd look way better in a parade car.

You'd probably be able to fit in the seat better too.

Semper Fi. My downstairs neighbor and friend was a Lt. with 14 years in and was in combat somewhere. He won't talk about it much. - My girlfriend's late Father was in the Corps in WWII. I've known a lot of Marines and retired types. They're good people.

As to Oswald and 50's qualification requirements ? ...

More info in the link shown below :

Oswald’s Marine Rifle Marksmanship Scores

In the late 1950s, US Marines were categorised at three levels of shooting ability, according to the scores they achieved at a standardised test of their accuracy:

Expert: a score of 220 to 250.
Sharpshooter: 210 to 219.
Marksman: 190 to 209.

According to his Marine score card (Commission Exhibit 239), Oswald was tested twice:

In December 1956, after “a very intensive 3 weeks’ training period” (Warren Commission Hearings, vol.11, p.302), Oswald scored 212: two marks above the minimum for a ‘sharpshooter’.

In May 1959, he scored 191: one mark above the minimum for a ‘marksman’.

Colonel Allison Folsom interpreted the results for the Warren Commission:

The Marine Corps consider that any reasonable application of the instructions given to Marines should permit them to become qualified at least as a marksman. To become qualified as a sharpshooter, the Marine Corps is of the opinion that most Marines with a reasonable amount of adaptability to weapons firing can become so qualified.

Consequently, a low marksman qualification indicates a rather poor “shot” and a sharpshooter qualification indicates a fairly good “shot”.(Warren Commission Hearings, vol.19, pp.17f)

Folsom agreed with his (not her) questioner that Oswald “was not a particularly outstanding shot” (Warren Commission Hearings, vol.8, p.311).
