President Donald J. Trump

Well gang, this particular thread is starting to bore the shit outta me. It's the same three or four Brits? Canadians? coming on here talking out their ass saying the same nonsense over and over and over and over and... *smack!* and not really contributing anything new to this conversation now for over two weeks.

We get it! Trump is Hitler (although if your grandparents heard you talk like that they would probably throw you out of their two up & two down), Socialism is the only thing that can save the US, and you don't seem to mind, or have a rebuttal for the complete breakdown of Western Civilization that is happening FOR REAL in your country and others over there. I haven't seen one of you contradict the FACT that you have no go Muslim zones drenched in Sharia Law right in your own backyard. How Neville Chamberlin of you (look him up: Peace in our time clown, and the true father of WW II)!

So I'll be checking in once in awhile to see if anything different is happening here, but I'll be moving along for now to the AB & Heather threads where at least there are more bellgabbers with much better senses of humor and grasps on history.  Enjoy!

EDIT: I know, don't let the door hit my ass on the way out, or some other juvenile retort, Lol!

Anyway, regardless of this or your opinions of other candidates, the question remains: What evidence do you see that Trump cares about his country first and foremost, as he claims?

I could give you a well thought out and reasoned answer, but why should I bother when it is obvious that you have made up your mind about Trump, the anti-Christ? I am not here to convince anyone of anything any more than I will be convinced by anyone of their point of view. You could watch Trump run into a burning building and rescue a child and you would still despise him. Let's agree to disagree because I don't come to Bellgab to fight or to be made to feel that I have to prove my opinion to anyone.

Let's see.   Obviously no starvation.  No blood.  No bruises.  No broken bones. No urine.  No feces. No dirty sanchez.

No excuse for what happened but any one that has played High School football has seen worse in the locker room.  Probably ditto
when joining a great many Frat's.

You can do better than this.   Try again.

Personally I'd love to see Anonymous--or even any decent investigative journalist--pull back the curtain on Trump, and all the presidential candidates.  So far, Trump has been the most evasive of the candidates in regards to his personal finances.  For example, where are his promised tax returns?  I might "like" my candidates more if I knew they were mostly honest and trustworthy.  So far Trump has hidden behind his clown mask, and I think the electorate choosing the highest office in the country deserves to see what's underneath.

You can't be serious about wanting an anarchist group to hack into a presidential candidate's life, anymore than you would like it if it was done for you.

You know not what you ask for.

He hasn't been evasive at all. He has released a 100 page financial statement. He has released previous tax returns. He drew the line at releasing the ones that are currently being audited.

Hillary Clinton released her 2014 personal return, but not the Clinton Foundation returns. I dare say those would make for far more interesting reading.

So by the same standard, Donald Trump could only be expected to release his personal returns, not any returns for his corporations.

BTW - it is not a requirement that a candidate release his or her tax returns.

VoP- it may just be my room temperature IQ working here, but I'd appreciate you taking the time to explain to me what you think my intention was in posting that video.

I can't say offhand, particularly since I do my best to avoid videos that play around with images of Hitler to make a point. (Why be coy and mess around with stuff like this?) But for you, I'll make an exception and click on the video.

Honest to God, GS, how do these idiots with a straight face bring up stuff a candidate has or hasn't released when we have that fool Obama in the White House? His whole LIFE has been hidden, hell, we can't even see his Goddamned school transcripts because he is not the brightest bulb on the tree!

They don't even realize how uninformed and downright stupid they sound!

Okay, I'm off, lol!

Hey MV,

Please implement the IP Filter for the Politics thread.  I am tired of foreigners thinking they have First Amendment rights. It's our constitution, not theirs. Please switch them to "Read it and Weep" mode.

Expats can request an exemption, but only if they provide the appropriate repatriation proposal.

If you have the time, please create an "Other Worldly Politics" Topic and let them play in their own sandbox. Of course, once they get to fighting over there, we will probably be asked to come to their assistance. Resist the urge of foreign entanglements though. Don't moderate over there unless you get firm assurances that you get their oil.

I nominate FightTheFuture as the BellGab Ambassador and charges' de affairs to the Other Worldly Politics contingent. Extensive data analysis has been performed, and he does, in fact, know it all.  If, after fervent prayer with Carly Fiorina and Ted Cruz, he refuses to serve, the alternate nominee would be Jackstar. Based on keyword analytics, Jackstar appears to have the most interest in World Trade and desires to be considered as the Center of attention.

Respectfully submitted for your prompt compliance to my request. TigerLily appears to be in the kitchen preparing refreshments as we speak. Carry on.

Praise MV!
Now where did I put that rat poison?

Right, paying for pedophile muslims to live in Canada where they are free to rape, torture, and abuse their 10 year old child brides, is the same as the picture you keep posting.

Secondly, everyone believes those war time captives were mistreated.  The actions of the American soldiers were denounced and I believe most faced consequences.

In Canada though, the actions of these pedophile muslims are not denounced, they do not face consequences and in fact are given welfare and housing by the Canadian government.  They are also getting Mosques built for them by the Canadian government, Trudeau is converting military bases to bring in more muslims and more pedophile muslims with their 10 year old child brides.

Another reason our "allies" are scared is that we have been footing the bill for their protection...if they start paying, "their fair share", their populations will not appreciate the tax increases...or having to learn Arabic or Russian...

If Trump has nothing to hide, then he has nothing to worry about should someone go snooping into his private affairs.  Since he's running for POTUS he should expect to be thoroughly vetted.  Groups like Anonymous only exist today because of the void left by mainstream journalism who has essentially become an entertainment medium.

That is quite a leap you've made from being properly vetted for political office, to the police entering our homes at will, and being "given unlimited stop/search/frisk powers."  Go ahead with your irrational paranoia, but leave me out of it.

Well, you might bother because it should be obvious that I don't think Trump is the anti-Christ. I think he is a flim-flam man and am fascinated (and horrified) to see him getting away with this act of his. He's not nearly clever enough to be the anti-Christ.

I would much rather have had anonymous hack the HRC server so we could have insight into the 30,000 emails she deleted. While she was a public servant. Still would like to know if Obama entered college as a foreign exchange student. Really want to know how he travelled to Pakistan while it was illegal for Americans to travel there. What role did Kasich play in the failure of Lehman Brothers?

I dare say that Donald Trump has been vetted more thoroughly than any Democrat candidate has ever been scrutinized. But we are just getting started. I am sure that the media is holding something back for their "October Surprise". Never fails. Unless it is related to Benghazi. Why did Bernie Sanders choose to honeymoon in the Soviet Union in 1988?  How did Marco Rubio flip his house to a lobbyist and double his money?

For every question about each political contribution from Donald Trump over they years, I would like to know why the candidates (public servants) solicited those contributions.

There are a lot of questions I have, but they aren't all about Trump.

He must be pretty honest in his tax filings, I believe he stated he has been audited for each of the last 12 years. No charges of fraud were ever disclosed.

If roles were reversed, I would not have made any assumptions of your intent without watching the video. I would have given you the courtesy of viewing the content of your post to at least try and understand your point. I'm here to learn how other people perceive this issue. My primary interest in not how people feel about something or someone, but more of an interest in why they feel that way. This allows me to better understand where they're coming from and I'd rather have a conversation with someone than be reduced to curt one line, non answers or profanity laced replies. If F you ends the conversation, I can assure you of two thing- 1) it didn't come from my side of the conversation and 2) if that's the only response I can get in the end- then I feel that I failed in my attempt. It's disappointing to see this happen so frequently here- many lost opportunities.

I am so glad that you are blessed with the political wisdom, that I have yet to achieve, and the patience to endure the children who pretend they're grown-ups that think they know what they're talking about.  And, I do not fault you in the least, to let 'em have it, once your patience is worn beyond the boundary of reason.

Well done sir, well done!

I watched the video and it was what I expected it to be. Sorry that you took my not watching it initially as a lack of courtesy but I judged that watching it was not necessary. As it turns out, I was right and btw I didn't enjoy watching it.

Beyond that, I'm still not understanding why you posted it. You were just looking for a reaction, not trying to express an opinion? Or what?

Why are you liberal cucks so violent and criminally minded?

Or do you just have the hots for Lynndie England?

It's kinda difficult to tell.

Just pointing out that when it comes to the morale high ground, you might be looking upwards to those who occupy it.

On the most basic level, the people out there spewing that Trump is literally Hitler illustrates the frustration some of us feel from hearing this tired, overused trope echoing all over social media.

Let me see if I have this right- a sarcastic video pointing this out is more offensive than the imbecile tweeting this out to the legion of other imbeciles to escalate their own hatred and rage?

I don't know if it's more or less offensive or annoying. I simply try to avoid both sides in a silly argument.

I'll boil down my position as follows. Hitler comparisons are almost always exaggerations of the actual situation. The word "literally" is terribly abused and overused. "Literally Hitler" is the worst of both trends combined into two words or less.

None of these charges or counter-charges change the reality that Trump has some characteristics which could translate into fascistic behavior if given the power of the presidency. He doesn't need to be Hitler to be dangerous, he just has to be the same Trump he's always been.

You are right.  It is embarrassing about our crime rates.  Black males which are 6% of our population commit over 60% of all rapes and other violent crime.  They are a real problem in America.

Again, your government led by Trudeau is specifically allowing and financially supporting adult muslim men who are raping, torturing, and abusing their 10 year old child brides and face no consequences.

You seem to be okay with that.

You are a rape and pedophile enabler.  Like Yorkshire_Pud, you sicken me and are revolting.

No, actually, I have deep concerns for the underclass in this country.  And, unlike you, I understand how the economy works. Free trade is a good thing. Obviously, nothing is perfect, but it's sure better than the alternative. The Clown has NO IDEA what he's talking about when he starts jabbering about tariffs and trade imbalances, Etc. He's a fool. He's going to get this country in a trade War which would be nothing less than an unmitigated disaster.

Here, I found a very dumbed down article regarding free trade, from George Mason, that even you should be able to comprehend.
