He's a fraud and a phony for plugging it for weeks before deciding not to.  This guy's 'show prep' consists of thinking up some bullshit story or idea on the drive in, and blurting it out as if it's the truth.

Magnificent multiple vehicle wreck in the 'Comedy Monologue" aka 'Here's What's Happaneen' last night. He ran the story about the joint study between The Bronx Zoo and Edinburgh University which concluded - surprise, surprise! - that cats are self-interested, neurotic predators working out ways to kill us. In the space of this one short item, he managed to pronounce 'Edinburgh' to rhyme with 'Pittsburgh', 'Scottish' as 'Scottich', 'characteristics' as something like 'characterississ' and 'neurotic' as 'erotic'.
Once again, the image of Mr Magoo behind the wheel, oblivious to the carnage he leaves behind him, comes to mind.

I like the authenticity of the laboratory in the background.  The viles of chemicals and whatnot make it very surreal.

I have never seen it either.  I took it to be a DVD of say thirty minutes and maybe a Giam commercial, but they probably prohibit him from the tastelessness of pushing for numbers every night.

Now, in Coast it is in the show, in twitter, everywhere and although I have attempted to accept that I can't so I am about to leave Coast for good.
