ABell reported "George Noory willing to accept draft for White House run" and I immediately think: I didn't know GNoory drank beer, let alone was able to run. Stroll at best, or toddle. Maybe depend on the time of day (or night). And if he approaches the White House, will the Secret Service stop him (because they're mean)? Will they recognize him and hesitate to shoot -- or shoot anyhow out of a sense of duty to humanity? Will they miss?
Excellent points! ;D

Noory promises if he is elected, he will remain in The White House until man steps foot on Mars.  Things are looking up.  At least he won't be doing C2C.

I heard that Noory recently talked about going to insurance companies to present the idea of getting fans of the show insurance.  Is this true?  If so why does this guy constantly act so charitable?  Shit in one hand and wish in another Noory.  It's sad to mislead the fans...or anybody for that matter.  Noory...the master of false hope.

And this presidential bullshit I just saw in Art's thread yesterday where Noory would consider a run for office (or something)!?  Has to be a joke.

I've weened myself off that clown but he still pisses me off.  I'm still paid through the year and I can't bring myself to waste space on my hard drive.  I need to at least recoup my losses and download all of Knapp's shows and some of Syrett's.  A lot of vetting to do.

Cheers all!

Art just posted this in the comment section of one of his posts on his Facebook page:
This is more than I can bear w/o venting!! I am an old lady and don't know the rules of etiquette, but here I go anyway.  Guess I'll just start with random thoughts. Was there life between Georges little boy stories (and how he knew all before science did) and his old man-65- life of now? Never a reference to H.S. or college, friends, adult life, or anything that proves he wasn't locked up somewhere between age 12 and say, age 50 except his carefully memorized bio lines.
I wonder if he has been using his 3 day weekends for acting classes to BETTER pretend he knows all without it showing that he's using the guests book to use thier own info as if it came from his lame brain. Before, he just used the chapter headings to do it, but seems to be trying even harder to be smart lately. I also assume he never misses Art's new show because he tries to mimic it now. I have noticed before that when Obama or a tv personality is getting a lot of notice, he again uses thier words or style (badly) to try to steal thier thunder.
Does he not know that he is so very late for the party with all his newfound knowledge? The man hasn't finished his 101 efforts yet, but seems to think he is the most informed man in the world. What intelligent person would ever go to him with any question????? Stupid can't be fixed you know.
Now this b.s. about President again!! NO ONE WOULD EVER TELL HIM HE SHOULD RUN. There is only one person that dumb and he doesn't know his audience now.
Like most, I mentally explode often with responses I am not quick enough to purge, so fume with unexpelled rage at radio ignorance and Noory especially.
I even noticed he doesn't cheat as much on his breaks any more, or is that from less sponsors?
Listening to his made up stories is unbearable because they either sound like lies and never the same or he memorizes them and recites  them verbatim over and over, believable or not. Save the young and the ignorant. Get him off the air. (p.s. He was at the Pentagon during his two week summer assignment in the Navy reserves, but would have folks believe he worked there! Wonder how many of his one weekend a month stints he missed and what did he do with the rest of that free time? I think he was there for the buck like many I knew back then. Rotten gigs, and right up Noory's ally--Imo)
I guess enough has been said about this ignoramous, and I am unable to call up more of my many furious moments right now. He will repeat them all, but ART IS BACK. Go Georgie, Go! To hell for all I care.

Welcome Castimout. You have found your people. Noory had many failed businesses such as a failed horse farm, a failed Middle Eastern restauraunt and also failed marriages.
He makes it sound like he was only divorced once, but there have been at least 2 divorces, possibly a third. Can you blame any woman from wanting to put as much space as possible between her and Whorge?

He was floundering as the Nightsqawk and stole Art's format. That's how he was noticed by the PremRATS.

For more background, see this blog. Don't know what ever happened to the lady who wrote it, but she was brilliant.

"Pizza Rolls for All."
"Tommy for Veep."
"Outlaw Anal Probes."

Awesome link! Good 'ol Dixie Butcher. Why did she suddenly up and disappear? I think she might have been on one of the earliest GNsucks forums too (shit, did I just answer my own question?  :o ).

As far as George being this so-called NightSqawk...never has one shred of anything other than a couple archived quickly made paste-up PR articles and a couple incidents of pure hearsay point to him ever being on the radio in St. Louis, or anywhere else for that matter before Art's gig was dropped in his lap. There are no tapes, no digital files no nothing of him being "The Nighthawk". If anything back then he was MAYBE on the radio for a week before getting the hook, then (of coursh) he bragged it up like he was Edward R. Murrow. The only things for real in the guy's past are, as you point out, the many many failures, lawsuits (most against him for non-payment of various types), divorces, running different business scams into the ground, etc. Nothing but burned bridges and bad everything.

George Noory not only sucks, he's an utter shit bag.

Dateline

Gotcha!  Tabloids say aliens will be landing and Richard Hoagland will be their leader.

From the C2C website for the last 2 hours of Noory's show tonight:
In the latter half of the program, author and rogue science advocate Mike Bara will talk about the NASA announcement that there is water on Mars as well as the prospect of aliens once residing on the Red Planet.

Noory is going up against Hoagland's show in those last 2 hours, with Hoagland's former co-author talking about Mars...

So he's a rogue scientist 'advocate' now?  They used to bill him as an engineering 'consultant' (even though he quit University and became a draftsman after a year of engineering)

Listening to an old Coast show where Art interviewed a cave diver. During calls, guy gets on and says, "Hi, this is Dave from St. Louis."

George Noory Willing To Accept White House Run If Drafted
September 28, 2015
George Noory, the host of Coast to Coast AM, is willing to accept a run for President in 2016 if he is drafted.

“There is a tremendous need in this country to bring government back to the people,” George told WND.com.

"People are fed up. They have had enough. Trust in government has gone out the window. We really need to get back to where government is there to serve the people." he said.

While he has never run for elected office, George told the news website that if he were indeed drafted, his platform would be fiscally conservative but "socially aware".

"I believe 2016 will be the beginning of a new age, an age of enlightenment," George elaborated.

"The current crop of political candidates looks out of touch, saying nothing new or genuine. By 2016, people are going to be saying, 'We cannot continue down the path we have been going as it will lead us only back to the familiar dead end we now see in Congress and the White House'."

George also said he is not currently affiliated with any political party.

"Enough people have come forward to say, "With your vast support, with your knowledge of affairs domestically and internationally, this may be the best time for you to make a run for the White House'," George told WND.com.
It takes a LOT of money to run.  You have to be rich or sell your soul.  Dave is not rich, is he?  There may be a test, I've heard - before running a person must be able to pronounce nuclear properly. He should start practising now, maybe?  Perhaps, by the next election, he'll be ready.

Dave is richer than most of the folks out there if he's indeed making more than half a mil a year from C2C but not rich when compared to most of the high-rolling candidates.

I don't believe pronouncing nuclear in any certain way would disqualify Dave from the Presidency, though, if you look at how a number of past Prez's pronounced it.

Even Jimmy Carter, who was admitted to the US Navy's nuclear submarine program, is part of the club.  However, Dave sucks so bad, I wouldn't want him as a dog catcher.

You can imagine the Press Secretary's role would be reduced to a never-ending process of clarification and correction following a Presidential press conference, consisting mostly of:
'What the President meant to say….'
'What the President was trying to say….'
'No, the President meant no disrespect to (insert mispronounced name of leader here) or to the people of (insert mispronounced name of country here)…..'
'When the President said he'd be kicking over chairs with his back feet…….'
'Yes, I am aware that 'in the click of an eye' is not a phrase in general use…..'
Etc, etc.

A proud moment for you, Georgie For President  ;)

I see Falkie has already been nominated as Press Secretary. I'll second that. And what about the rest of the Cabinet?
I assume Tommee is a shoo-in as Chief Of Staff.
I'll nominate the following:
Vice President: Richard Syrett (solid and reliable: weak and ineffective. There'll be questions asked by the birther movement about his alleged Canadian citizenship, but a birth certificate will be found to the contrary)
Secretary Of State: Jerome Corsi
Treasury Secretary: Katherine Austin Fitts (with Glynis McCants, the Numbers Lady, as head of the Fed)
Defense Secretary: Major Ed Dames (save a fortune in travel, cos he can see all the trouble spots without leaving his office)
Joint Secretaries Of Health: Christian Wilde and Eli Wallach
Head Of Homeland Security: Alex Jones

Any more nominees?

Well I find it interesting that folks like Limbaugh ($79 million) and Hannity ($29 Million) means that Dave's $500,000 sounds about right...

If Art was still on C2C full time and had the right agent he would be between the two...my guess would be $43 million per year if he kept the same size audience he did back in the day...Dave is paid based upon his pathetically small group of listeners...

I don't think you need worry. It came from WND, and I don't think they have ever got anything right in their lives. It's a real rats nest of crackpots. And how exactly does one 'draft' a president in the first place. It's not the NFL. I know you have your own way of doing things over there but there are limits. And I love the phrase 'socially aware' which means precisely fuck all. So, Dave is aware of people, is he? Well, that's a start! I remember him droning on about this years ago, as though the country was waiting with breath bated for him to announce his candidacy. I don't think the average guy in the street would know who he was in the first place, and actually knowing him doesn't mean that you are going to like him any more, probably the reverse. I do hope has a go though, just to burst that bubble of his when he realises that absolutely nobody knows or cares about him.

Jerome Corsi brought it up with him last night, and Dave did nothing at all to dismiss the idea. Plus they posted it on the C2C website, complete with ghastly pic of him. He is clearly perfectly happy to have his ego stroked with this.

Yes, I think even Dave realizes how fortunate he is to be able to pull down what he does.  That's why he won't voluntarily release his tight grip on C2C.  He knows he couldn't get anywhere close to his PremRat dollars with anything else.  Look at his pathetic efforts with Ancient Aliens and Beyond Belief.  Dave would like to delude himself into believing he has what it takes to be big-time Hollywood but that's all it is, a pathetic delusion.  Dave should have a standing order with ProFlowers to shower upon Limbaugh every day of the year.  He's just night-time filler for PremRat.

I wonder if Cumulus has seriously talked with Art recently?  I know Art may not be interested in working with a corporate outfit again, and I certainly don't blame him, but I'll bet Cumulus would gladly offer him a very tidy sum in the range you mentioned, Chefist.  Something Dave could never approach.

Interesting you brought that topic of Cumulus up! Bateman just posted that they had an executive shake-up this past week. They are ceding more control to the local level! That will play best for Art! You never want a corporate gate keeper when you are starting a grass roots effort like Art is! All in all it is good news what is happening at Cumulus!

LOL no doubt...but it also goes to show Art's character...I'm sure he and his agent ran those numbers...Art never really cared about those huge salaries...he was always content with what he had...granted, which is more than most folks, but he never was greedy...he just wanted to do a show the way he desired! Now he has both a comfortable financial life AND the show he always wanted! I just hope he finds contentment in that fact and does a very long run with MITD! C2C be damned!
