George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

I grew up watching the zombie classics.  The original "Last Man on Earth" with Vincent Price, "Night of the Living Dead,... they scared the crap out of me as a kid at Saturday matinees.  What can compare?

Yep, I enjoyed the first season, mainly because I like dystopian/"can you survive" movies and books, when done right, not just watching prepper "reality" shows or something. Whether zombies, shipwreck, blizzard, expeditions, etc. And I don't mind, necessarily touching on social issues or the psychology, because that can be interesting. But the series, to me, went off the rails into too much "drama" often of a soap-opera variety. And the re-boot, or new version in LA, ugh. I find no character compelling or finding myself thinking "I hope he/she makes it." But the ones you mentioned, yeah. Good movies, NOLD is still scary and the low budget aspect makes it more so. Hollywood doesn't seem to understand that CGI and big budgets, effects, and perfect film doesn't necessary a good movie make.

So glad to see Tommy "roused" and ready to go after his health scare.  Really am thankful that he's feeling better and wish him only the best upon his recovery.  Wouldn't wish PE on my worst enemy.     I know we kid and bicker here on BellGab but I really don't think we're that low to wish such an incredibly devastating complication upon another.  Glad we're ALL here and ACCOUNTED for at this point.      Besides, the submerging artists still suck, so that's a plus in my book and it's good to know that things are business as usual over "at the competition" as Art would have it.

Dave carried the discovery of evidence for a previously unknown henge or possibly processional avenue at Durrington Walls near Stonehenge. He completely mangled the story, though, giving completely the wrong impression, and hilariously pronounced 'henge monument' as 'hedge mojument'. No correction or apology, of course, just ploughed on regardless.
I see Ancient Britons out with their shears, clipping away.

Last night's program (Monday) was so terrible that even Noory hit new lows.

He had NO interesting questions for the cryptozoologist.......just simple minded, bird brained questions and commentary.  The man is plain weird and stupid.

Fanthrope came to save the day because Noory absolutely blew it again.

I'll usually listen to Dave's first segment to hear the "news" and find out who the guest is. Then I go back to focusing on Art.

I enjoy it too.    I just can't enjoy anything with Noory anymore.  A while back I wasted money paying for a year's worth of Insider and I don't even use it.....for all the reasons people say Noory sucks.  Add booting guests to that too.

Last time I heard Noory was last week when I left my bedside radio on. I woke up to hear him say "Stay tuned for Blahblahblah who'll tell us why taking your cellphone into the bathroom and leaving it is a bad idea."

I literally had trouble falling back asleep thinking how stupid that guest teaser sounded. Who would stay up for that?!

Only Norry can make interesting subjects like cryptozoology seem so boring. I turned it off. The people in the "mist tunnels" at iHate really backed the wrong horse. RCH is knocking it out of the park almost every night. It AMAZES me how good RCH is doing, so quickly out of the gate and with a far lower budget. His show with Peter Levenda last night was great. Compare it to when Norry (and even Ian) had him on and you will be surprised how much better RCH is. Spend your money wisely and subscribe to OSOM instead of the coast insider....

I thought so also, and he does do shows about space of course, but he is really good on many different subjects. And a funny guy. Was very surprised how good a show RCH has and so quickly out of the gate.

At least with Noory they know he won't do anything that might get them in legal trouble. Sure the show sucks but they don't care. They make most of their money selling ads during daylight hours. Anything they make overnight is just gravy.

Sorry I missed that. I like Levenda. I bought Unholy Alliance and the Ratline book after hearing him on with Knapp/Punnett. I need to start recording Hoaxie.

I think the last time that happened was when I called when the guest talking about Bob the Doll was on, and I asked about possible connections between Bob and Ernest Hemingway.
