No need to defend yourself, I did the same.   In the past I'd tune in and listen for a while and tune away when GN would snort something stupid.  Too bad because the guest might be interesting but listening to dufus' comments would drive me away.

I tuned in less to C2C when the host of the show reported a name of a person found dead after the Boston bombing, somewhat linking it to the event.  He stated "you heard it hear first".  Turned out that person was a victim to suicide, totally unrelated to the bombing.  Wow, what a journalist GN is!!   Is he ever going to find the last interview tape with Hoffa he lost?  Apparently he doesn't go fishing, otherwise what stories we'd hear!

I tuned in one night some time ago and heard dippy speaking to a former sniper.  On the heels of the movie "American Sniper" being released, I listened in.  I was totally disgusted when Noory equated HIS "nine years" of service (in the Reserves) with the active duty service, in combat, with the former sniper.  If I remember correctly,  Noory said he did enough time.

Some time ago he lamented not staying in the Reserves until he was promoted to an 04 so he can call himself a Commander.  He claims himself as a FULL lieutenant, would he have called himself a LIGHT Commander if he did advance in rank?  I think not.  Is there any proof that he was in the US Navy?

How fortunate for him that he got out before the Gulf War.

Is Noory still dispensing medical advice or still having a baaaad feeling? I remember he said his bad feeling was somewhat relieved after the Boston bombing.
Oh he is ALL still about "sometheens going on, people are just on edge" crap. But loves it because it allows him to talk about his roadrage and dead baby obsession.

Late night he couldn't even pronounce the word "Xerox" when he attempted to find out if a palmistry expert (who predicted the US would be reverting to ancient methods and away from science and technology) if he could read someone's palm if it was "Zeeroched" (or something,) the guest then accurately said "you mean xeroxed, yes, I can and have." Then a few moments later "can you read the palm of an ape or monkey" and the guest said, "well they have a simian crease." I was thinking "so do you Norry" (apologies to anyone out there with Down's Syndrome, I didn't mean to demean you.)

Sometimes all I get to hear is c2c and thats ok sometimes. But it is shows like tonights that make me sick. Natural health infomercial followed by some new agery crap is the absolute worst. The show tonight is the typical "mail it in" crap that has gotten to be the norm for to long. I really think c2c tried to get better when Art returned but that was very short lived. C2C is happy I guess just running the same old formula and it is a shame.

Had to mow the lawn so listened to last night's C2C Norry show. At some point Norry mentioned something like that he "had the opportunity" to drive by and look at Jon Benet Ramsey's house and ponder the horrible crime. What type of sicko wants to visit the house of a dead child? And to ponder the crime? :o

I was discussing with someone that is not a Coast listener about all of these strange revenue streams that Norry has endorced and infomercials, the health one, the date one,  and whatever else he conjures up next month.

The person was to the point.  He is just trying to make as much money before he quits working.  It made sense.  I don't like it or listen to it or favor it, but it made sense.  Excuse me it makes cents.

I'm not against him making money. I actually thought the dating thing was a good idea. What bothers me is nights like tonight when he clearly has a financial stake in what his "pharmacist" guest is peddling. That is a big conflict of interest. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember Art doing a show with Bob from C Crane.

I agree it appears to be a conflict of interest.  But, I believe, that he is co-owner of the dating site, and that to me seems to be a conflict of interest.  That turns me against Coast, and I don't listen.

I too believe he is a part owner of dating site but until he does a show on it I don't mind him plugging it. I have also wondered if some of his guests pay to get on his show. I don't remember the last time he had one on that wasn't pushing a book other than LMH. If they do pay to get on the show I wonder if they give Norry the questions to be asked.

Donald Noory

I thought that hysterical assbag Steve Quayle said he wasn't doing Coast anymore. He's on tonight. Yippee.

Someone should really phone in with his quote saying he wasn't going to do it anymore.  He probably thinks nobody in the Coast audience heard it.  I also think the Noory crew must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse.  Quayle's first appearance after making that declaration was the week that MITD premiered, when Coast was trying to get all their highest rated guests (they seemed to have petered out with that after day 2.  C2C sucks).

I listened to that show on youtube when it was posted and it was a show a year (or more) old (but posted on youtube much later?) So I'm unsure when SQ said he wouldn't appear. It was bizarre, of course, but I couldn't nail down date, because I didn't listen to all of it and it was a repost of some other show? But at least with Quayle one doesn't have to listen to Norry much because he doesn't breathe or allow much response from Norry. And he has a hot daughter. And will be curious, if I listen later, how he treated the 23 Sept deal (I don't know if he predicted "end" now or not though.) I wanna say that Ian pissed SQ off and it could've been a repost from one of those shows but don't know. I recall Ian cut him off before.
ps: not defending the guys or his ideas, but will for introduction to his daughter. Kidding, "of course."

'Allo!
with you all i am still.
noteing the themes on Mr.Norry's guest,Mr.Quayle.
Has he an whole stable of hobby-horses he rides out.
The mention that his offspring femme is allegedly attractive.
Depending,of course, upon whether she could be trained to do on-camera cameos that punctuate the dialogue vis.Mr.Norry by spinning her head around,a la Linda Blair in "Exorcist"..
Seemingly Mr.Quayle is over-the-top psudo-scholar whom was frightened by an bible in the womb.
If his researches bear even vagueley legitimate fruit,archeologic-ly-wise.
Better an 'Useful Idiot' than an obstacle or gate-keeper.
His gulibility quotient must be high.

June 12, 2015 apparently, unless they put the wrong date on the video.  I haven't listened to the whole thing so maybe you found a direct reference to the date in there.

I think he meant as of that date he would do absolutely no show prep.  Before that, every once in awhile he would ask about upcoming guests.

That was the one, I think posted earlier. I didn't listen to all with really listening. Let us know! I tried and seemed older than post date etc  by what was being "discussed" but stopped the madness. But that was 3 years ago? Idk. Crazy stuff and into the intro is hard to listen too. There was a clip on the youtubes. Again, a lot earlier, that it was posted on here about him not being on C2C. I think it was against Ian cutting him off and actually questioning him on doctrine?

I don't think they pay, but I know the guests provide questions. A few have mentioned it during the show.
