Last night George asked listeners to contact health insurance companies & ask them to consider setting up policies specifically for listeners of CTC, then email George with their response.  He wants the name of this proposal to be "GeorgeCare."  I could not make this stuff up.  BS, serious or the random musings of an egomaniac?  Who knows or cares.  Just another backassward way to show how much he "cares" for his audience....

Norry had a musing about illegals: About how walls and fences won't work and then
"I don't know if they are illegal or not, those that I met, those that are working, really put in 120% and that's a lot." Met with silence so then quickly followed up by this gem "Rocky, only have about a minute left, what did this uh episode and these stories do to you in terms of what you think this is all about?" Silence, and then a tentative "as far as all the paranormal activity?"

Then Norry explained that he wasn't talking about 911 or conspiracies that evening to caller Charles in Los Angeles: "I decided not to do it today because I just didn't want to go there in terms of the conspiracies and take a little umbrage to those that died."

Umbrage: a feeling of being offended by what someone has said or done

Was anyone listening the other night when the Time Trax guys were telling a story about how somebody ignored their advice?  The story ended with "and she died..."  George, with his usual sense of empathy, said something like 'haha well she should have listened.  Listen we're going to a break but when we get back I want to discuss with you what you think about the future of Donald Trump."

Okay, I don't remember exactly what he said but it was pretty cold.

And Annie from Alabama might be a nut but the mean way Norry treated her wasn't funny and sort of bizarre. Joking that he was going to get her a $200Kjob and then said "no." Then half-heartedly saying "if there is anything we can do to help" as an after thought when he realized, I think, that his personality came out and joking with a poor, possibly mentally ill women isn't "funny." He has done similar things to women callers and guests in the past other posters has mentioned.

The past night gave us some gems. Firstly that Norry takes "umbrage" with victims of 9/11. And secondly, my favorite mangled, confusing question, so I will repeat it:
"Rocky, only have about a minute left, what did this uh episode and these stories do to you in terms of what you think this is all about?"

That's not what it's about.'
Schrader last night doing his embarrassed compulsory puff for PND, suggested again there's going to be a reality TV show based on it. Please God we get to see that train wreck!

That amazed me as well. Offering a woman 200K job just to take it back when she was excited to get it. Then of course she gives her hard luck story about being tricked by fraud and how she's losing her home and roof caving in.

By listening to C2C does it seem like every caller falls into a couple of categories? "Hard on their luck sad stories" and political partisan paranoid people.

I literally only listened to two callers before both boxes were check and I had to turn it off.

This may have been answered (I'm only 6 pages from catching up!) but Linda has a show on KGRA radio network (see http://www.kgraradio.com/) it's called Phenomenon Radio and she co-hosts with, I think, John Burroughs of the Rendlesham Forest UFO event. See also http://www.kgraradio.com/portfolio-view/phenomenon-radio/ (which is a little out of date, but has useful info). The show is on Thursday nights at 8pm Eastern time, and rerun a few times later in the week but I'm not sure when. Unfortunately (but like Bell's and Hoagland's shows) archives are not free. I think one can listen live via the website, but also if you have an internet radio (I have a Grace Mondo digital internet radio). There are plenty of internet radio shows that have downloadable archives (at least for a few weeks, then you pay), and quite a few others, like Scotsman Kevin Baker, put their shows on YouTube.  Oh, and Bell's new show can be heard live via KYAH radio, in Delta, Utah, and probably other stations are picking him up and replaying the first 2 hours of C2C later on.

At some point Norry mentioned something like that he "had the opportunity" to drive by and look at Jon Benet Ramsey's house and ponder the horrible crime.
