Ya know...I always thought Tommy was the bigger of the two douches but I realize now that George is.  He thinks he's such a funny guy.  He thinks he's such a caring guy.  I guess he feels Tommy is his straight man in the comedy routine.  I've heard enough of George to know he's awkward in nearly everything he says and does.  Not only is he a shit host, he's a sad sack overall.  Tommy is a Producer by trade and could get a gig anywhere, and deal with different people better than Noory. He would still do his job.  He should've told George he was out of line and get back to the show.  What could happen?  George needs to be humbled.  Even when he expresses empathy he comes across as disingenuous.  He really is a ghoul.  It would not surprise me to hear him talk about "What if somebody dies on a plane...what would you do?" in more than one show, BUT, he would probably ask too "What if a baby died on a plane?"  Damn he sucks.

Wow, look what Noory has done to ShayP.  It always amazes me how Noory can turn even the nicest, most gracious people against him.  How can he say 'some people just don't like my style' and keep a straight face?

I haven't listened to George since MITD started. It seems ... strange. Like a tiny George-shaped hole in my life, but not really.

That's my deep, meaningful contribution to this thread for the week.

I have to have lunch with my sister-in-law today. I would rather listen to George. So there you go â€" that's one face-off you'd win, George.

LOL!  My disgust isn't new.  I started to 'see through him' around about 3 years ago.  I continued to listen until a few months ago.  The man just irks me anymore. The sad part is....I was a big fan for a while.  Oh well.

Plus....if I fall under "nice and gracious" then...thank you.     I think I am....mostly. (Don't tell anybody though...ssshhhhh)

I see on the c2c schedule for next Friday night, Noory is off yet again and Jimmy Church guest hosts...

I commented on this a while ago. Someone - Paper*Boy, possibly - suggested it's because he has vacation time owing to him which he has to take but won't take in a block like normal people, so he takes it in Fridays.

Yeah the vacation thing does make sense, lots of corporations to do that for accounting purposes. But this time he said it was a "corporate event" that "they are pulling me too."

Noory said when he had a free weekend after all his commitments this past summer, he was going to go to the Hawaiian studio.  Then again, I think he said that in 2013 too.

I tuned in for a minute last night at the beginning of the show, it was amazing. He led with the dead babies and in quoting the murderer, somehow managed to make 'handiwork' sound like 'hamworks'

Yeah, in my defense I listen usually when mowing the lawn, working in the garage, or anywhere where loud noise occurs. An easy way to block those noises. And for the humor and perversity of his bumblings and odd obsessions and mumblings with death, mean babies, and what not. And crazy callers. The opposite of Art and other shows where one wants to focus on listening. OSOM is really good too because it involves some fumblings, especially technical, but they are endearing.

No need to defend yourself, I did the same.   In the past I'd tune in and listen for a while and tune away when GN would snort something stupid.  Too bad because the guest might be interesting but listening to dufus' comments would drive me away. 

I tuned in less to C2C when the host of the show reported a name of a person found dead after the Boston bombing, somewhat linking it to the event.  He stated "you heard it hear first".  Turned out that person was a victim to suicide, totally unrelated to the bombing.  Wow, what a journalist GN is!!   Is he ever going to find the last interview tape with Hoffa he lost?  Apparently he doesn't go fishing, otherwise what stories we'd hear!   

I tuned in one night some time ago and heard dippy speaking to a former sniper.  On the heels of the movie "American Sniper" being released, I listened in.  I was totally disgusted when Noory equated HIS "nine years" of service (in the Reserves) with the active duty service, in combat, with the former sniper.  If I remember correctly,  Noory said he did enough time.

Some time ago he lamented not staying in the Reserves until he was promoted to an 04 so he can call himself a Commander.  He claims himself as a FULL lieutenant, would he have called himself a LIGHT Commander if he did advance in rank?  I think not.  Is there any proof that he was in the US Navy?

How fortunate for him that he got out before the Gulf War.

Is Noory still dispensing medical advice or still having a baaaad feeling? I remember he said his bad feeling was somewhat relieved after the Boston bombing.
