Just passing through to hear Dave urge 'everyone who's single' to go to Paranormal Date. Can you say desperate?
He suggests you say you're interested in mysteries. Like the mystery of how the fuck you get to be paid half a mil a year for being an incompetent fool?
Dave is the posterboy for the phrase "Better to be lucky than good." GNRRS

Hoping that George will try to 'woo' Salma with a song or two ...... cringe factor 10
George doing Tom Jones' ...... 'It's Not Unusual' ......
Or maybe ask her to be "Mrs. Dexter Monterray" in his semi autobiographical time traveller movie.....cringe factor 12+

When I found this one, I thought it might be one of yours?
Ha! Yes indeedy.
And I kinda remember the tagline in original the post was something to the effect he pulled that out of Tommy's wide Winnebago ass? Could be wrong. Pretty sure it was not meant to be him holding a sausage although it works as a gag (heh) I suppose.

wtf... PLEASE tell me Snore's is not making half a mil a year!!  I was told at work today that there was a half a mil fine for using an unauthorized xp machine on the network at this point.... I just so happen to have been using my old xp machine here n there for a few thangs ya know.

anyway I asked the source of this half a mil fine mention and he just pointed up hill through all the acct managers and eventually Microsoft.  I think it's BS but I still shut that machine down...

anyways... THE NOORY??

That's the rumor, if not even more, with the "vast" Noory financial empire of books, appearances, "Beeyond Beeleeve"... ;)

I believe even Snorge has alluded to making more than the Pres. Dave should be his own guest on "Beeyond Beeleeve," revealing his powuhful secrets for scamming the system.

And who knows what he got/gets from the dating company behind paranormaldate or for the infomercials/shows for the "health products?" It really is amazing, and sad.

This may all change .....
With the C2C 'springboard' losing its spring ...... declining numbers/stations, and general dis-interest in George and his show, the rest of 'his empire' is just a house of cards.  It's just a matter of time before the whole 'Noory phenomenon' fades away.  Truly an oddity ...
No talent, no speaking skills, dis-interest in the 'gift' that gave him a chance ...... the glass is empty.

One could certainly think Snorge's heydays are soon coming to an end.  I've been thinking this for over 5 years.

Exactly. I think iHM, Inc is focusing on other things and likely aren't concerned with that time slot. Not that many listeners up then, less listening to AM, and not much competition out there for them. Norry shows up, doesn't offend, tows the company line, doesn't make waves, etc so they just let him do this thing. I'm a little surprised that they allowed it to become such a Norry-promotion vehicle (unless they also get some kind of cut from the "big events," tv show (that is internet based,) and "health" products.

"George get`s it." With those three words Noory was able to get an eight or nine year contract (remember "I`m here until 2012") and parley it into a cash cow for his lifetime. Sorry, but he ain`t going anywhere. G N S

George, ....... 'ain't going anywhere' ........
But, he's becoming more and more irrelevant by the minute .....
He's an ineffectual doofus ..... the 'white noise' of night-time radio .....

PremRad may just have decided to milk the mindless masses with Simple Snoorge.  All I have to do is watch main stream TV or glance at the magazine racks at the grocery store checkout to see that catering to the brain-dead is still quite profitable.  Crap sells.

Yeah, LCD is the way to go in the country these days. Proven in tv, radio, popular culture, politics, education (depending on school and major program,) etc.

That's why, although I really think it's smart to offer some sort of tuition relief to good students, the last time this was done people were being reimbursed by the government for non-essential majors, like basket-weaving.  If such a program is proposed, it should be strictly limited to areas that further the country, or at least on a sliding scale favoring STEM, etc.

Dateline

All the rat eaters must have been disciplined with a time out last evening.  So quiet and so lonely, not even a cricket, but I did hear a frog croak, or did that sound come from Norry. :'(

albrecht

Norry: "what's yer take of the so-called Presidential ambition-type folks?" :o
Guest Carl Gallups: "Ah, what do you mean?"
Norry: "you know, all, er, I mean you got a million Republicans and hand-full of Democrats."

Instead of simply using the word: candidates. "Presidential ambition-type folks," Classic.

Looks like Salma Hyek has bailed now - she is no longer listed as a first hour guest for tonite on c2c's website...   8)

Interesting.  Maybe she didn't want to be serenaded by Creeper Dave.

Yeah, I want to say I've heard the subject before on C2C or somewhere? It would be an interesting show with Art or with Knapp.

"what's yer take of the so-called Presidential ambition-type folks?" is now the line I'm using in any conversation regarding the Presidential candidates. In Norry's honor.

That actually sounds like something I'd say.
