What's the over-under on Annie from Alabama?  I'm betting she's a gnoory girl through thick and thin.
It seems Norry is pissing off, or forcing out, many of the tried and true guests and now even callers. Annie from Alabama used to call in with Ian. I don't recall if she ever called in to Art. I guessing she would call in to anyone who would listen to her theories or various legal plight. Will Bill the AAA stick with Norry I wonder? It is funny how Norry seems to be panicking over Art's return and he clearly still has a big problem with his inability to ever get out from Art's shadow.

Izintit?

Seems like when they do get around to open lines, the tent revival crowd is being outpaced by the paranoid "race war" or just plain racist callers. I appreciate George not entertaining them too long, and in some cases cutting them right off.
That`s fathead Noory, for ya. He spends all week predicting cataclysm, evil, and violence in the streets and hangs up on callers who want to talk about it on Friday.   "`Sumpthins gonna happen"  Unsurpassable prick. GNS

Jorch "Some people are pure evil.  I don't know what's wrong with them."

Yeah like the kind of scumbag who partners up with a shyster Paranormal Date website so he can milk more money out of his gullible, ignorant audience that he has contempt for.

I have no way of knowing what the audience is of internet broadcasting.  The only way I've listened had been in Utube.  I keep my computer(which is too bulky to be moving around all day) in another room, and listen to late night radio in my bedroom.  I've purchased an internet radio so I can listen to Art conveniently and without headphones.

I am older than dirt, but I think for some who would listen on the regular radio, the logistics of internet listening in the home might present a problem.  I just don't know.  Some of Nureee's listeners don't impress me as the sorts who embrace change.

This might take time and patience and frequent reminders.

I don't think Art minds if Noory keeps his dedicated fanbase.  I think he'd rather be engaged by callers than listen to someone quoting bible passages about why science is bad.

I don't think even Noory particularly enjoys his callers.  He was complaining one time about a recurring dream where strange people would keep coming into his home and he couldn't get rid of them.  I'm pretty certain that was repressed disdain for his callers.

Disdain yes, and too many turkee sammiches after midnight I'm afraid. Perhaps a little Carnivoraâ,,¢ would help with that... or some toomrik??

Yeah, from that I would almost feel sorry for him.  At his age, and he has not found his niche in life.  If he enjoyed his job he'd love to research guests, read their books, and interact with callers.  I read that Indians often have an astrology chart made for a child when he is born.  CHorsh's probably would have had him remain a dentist.  He could make a decent sum and just drill, fill, and bill all day.

THat dream thing was interesing, thanks.

Would you want an incompetent twit like Jorch Noory rooting around in your mouth with sharp instruments?

Funny!  No, I probably would not be one of his patients.  It is, however, a fairly routine job that a person can do without a lot of continuing training necessary.  It seems to me that a lot of them get the basic techniques down and then just repeat them over and over.

There should be a place in life for each of us.  I was wondering what else he could do in broadcasting, but what do you have, sports and mostly political right wing talk?  Even in those you need a certain alertness to stay on top.

I'm thinking of a prior poster who said he will actually answer rhetorical questions.  He lacks the conversational skills to even understand what that is.  When he has an interesting guest who could be challenging he seems to be just trailing along, trying to keep up.  He's not what I would call inspiring.

He has delusions of granduer (being a tv star, hosting "big events", singing before large crowds, etc) but doesn't like his job as a radio host. How many times have you heard him re-ask the same question to a guest? Or interrupt a guest and completely ask a new question when the guest is actually being interesting? Or say to guests "ok, let's wrap this thing up" and the way he gives updates on the show announcing "last segment" etc shows that he, like the guest and audience, can't wait for it to be over. He treats the job like he is forced to work there and the job is some mundane, torturous, repetitive task- where it could be a very fun and interesting job.

Here's what happens to people who try to make that job "interesting":

Poor guy.  Do you really think he deludes himself to think that he does a good job?  Maybe.  He was boasting, the other day, of how many stations they serve.

Another think that Art used to do that Nurray does not is to ask the caller if the guest had answered the question to their satisfaction.  Art was often one step ahead, could think of several responses to a question, and so asked that.

I think he has ambitions for greater things and actually thinks he is "locked in" to the radio show, maybe even it is holding him back, in his mind. He is paid well and that, plus whatever family and financial obligations, often keep people working at job they don't like. He seems disinterested (aside from promotions for "big events," "tv shows, that are internet based," or sad tales of doom and gloom.) You can hear, now more frequently, various grunts etc, when people mention Art, the older shows, or the "new direction" and everyso often he goes on "mini-rants" about defending "split shows," politics, Art, and what not. He doesn't seem happy in the gig but sometimes if you are paid well you stick with it. I didn't even know Tommy was ill until he finally mentioned it (due to a caller) recently. I hope he gets better- I don't wish illness on anyone even if I don't like the "new direction," screening calls, the alt health crap, etc.

Yep.  I'm with you on that.  I try not to wish ill on anyone.  I notice people who are really mean-spirited eventually ruin things for themselves.

So what's the lowdown? Is Tommy Budweiser still Zeorge's left hand man and working on the show still?

Yes more than that.  RCH blames Bud for controlling Dave's life.

If and when George dumps Tommy, he'll likely head this way as several other former Noory sycophants have.  Only a matter of time

Truly can see both happening.
Hoagland 100% has some dirt on Gjaorge imo.

Izintit?

What happened to Tommy? I heard Fixodent say something about putting him on his Friday prayer group list that he mentions when it suits him. Did he get run over by an icecream truck?
