I think Cornelius just made Noory's shit list.  He said that he heard Art was coming back on and he is happy about that.  Jorch mumbled,  "Yeah, he gonna do his thing again. Again." Implying that he doesn't think that Art is back for the long haul.  I'll be surprised if Corny gets through again.

Norry is actually quite predictable in his deeply held beliefs... he believes whatever his guest believes, 100%, that's so true, absolutely, there's so much of that out there and I think so too! I also worry about that but I am thankful he is returning.  I was really disappointed in him for a long time when he bailed out of Sirius/XM over what I considered a small thing.  Especially after many people had signed up to Sirius just to listen to Art. He really let a lot of people down but I'm over it.  I hope he is willing to have a small show for a year or so until he builds up terrestrial radio affiliates. He says he is but we shall see.

To me his music was another Small Thing.  Not to him, but was it really a deal killer?  Then the Keith flap.  Next minor irritant comes along, and it seems like he'll quit again.

He does a good job from the one I've heard.  Its just hard finding time to listen to all of the great radio out there.  I listen to Coast for laughs and to see what Noory will screw up.  I've been listening to C2C less and less because of the crummy guests. When Art comes on, I doubt I'll listen to Coast much anymore unless the second guest is something I'm interested in.  I doubt I'll listen to Hoagy much after the first week or two.  I can't take him half of the time.

Actually I kind of understand the music thing.  If I had a show, I'd like to insert my cuts as bumpers.  Music is part of who I am as it is Art's.  Would I quit a show because my music could not be played?  No but I'd be disappointed.  I understand Art's sentiments.  I do worry he will just fold if he comes upon a minor inconvenience.

Seems like when they do get around to open lines, the tent revival crowd is being outpaced by the paranoid "race war" or just plain racist callers. I appreciate George not entertaining them too long, and in some cases cutting them right off.
