I sent Noory the info on the fake Admiral & he told me to grow up & that I was hateful for sending it to him.
I had told him he got suckered by the guy & George didn't want to hear the truth.
Then he said a HATEFUL remark about my parents.
The guy has lost it completely.
Either that or I'm driving him crazy with my pointing out the truth and how truly, truly, truly inept and clueless he can be.
And that he doesn't bother to do any fact checking on a guy who CLAIMS to be an admiral, something I found out in seconds.
Neither did his producer Tommy who should have George's back and doesn't.
I don't think Art would have fallen for it because HE would have interrogated the guy about his credentials or looked it up or both.
10 years in the Navy and probably the only thing George ever saw close to an Admiral was his morning box of Captain Crunch.

I've noticed that when Jorch fishes for his "thanks for your service" ego strokes, he NEVER mentions the real nature of his (part-time) "service". One weekend a month (during absolute peacetime) isn't exactly the granite that heros are hewn from.

Yeah I know, I walked away for a minute, and came back it was just stupid "Noorpen Lines".  The guest was a little eccentric but still interesting and deserved a decent host.

A similar show you may recall, which was great fun, was Knapp's interview with Lee Elders and his tales of Amazon adventures, about a year ago.  Worth a listen if missed.

I do and even got the book. Another good one I mentioned earlier was when Ian had the "Lost City of Z" show a while back. Again, got that book and is awesome. Speaking of which I think the only 3 books I was inspired to buy by the show (a few others I got at a library over the years maybe.) Speaking of Ian his show about World War Z, done like a recap of the recent zombie war "War of the Worlds" Orson Welles style, was excellent.  Bought that book also. BOTH TIMES during the Lost City of Z and WWZ interviews I said to myself. This is going to be a movie, no doubt. And word is I guess Brad Pitt is taking up that Lost City Z movie also. He must like "Z" or listen to C2C when Ian was on. I hope the Lost City of Z is better movie cause I liked Ian's radio version, and the book, better than the movie WWZ though it was ok.
