George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

I wonder if they found 'George Noory' in the Merlin code.  It wouldn't do for them to be upstaged by those Torah Code guys.

Noory just posted this on facebook:
A new version of the Coast to Coast AM website has launched with a more graphical interface! We welcome your feedback. http://www.coasttocoastam.com

"Graphical (sic)."

Oh my god.

I hope the new site doesn't distract anyone from their pornographical surfamatations.

I don't like it!  I actually am trying to figure out who the hell designed the new logo, it's bad!  What was wrong with old one?  REMINDS PEOPLE OF ART BELL????

The last C2C production meeting:

PremRat Bigwig: "We need to change some things around here, so we don't look like we're living in Art's shadow anymore. Ideas?"

Dave Noorie : "The name of the program, to show that we've really changed the format. Maybe name the show after me?"

PG: "No, we can't do that. Coast to Coast has name recognition, no one really knows who the hell you are."

DN: "Oh, we can change the bumper music. Get rid of all that stuff Art used to play, and go exclusively with folks like Pat Boone, Paul Anka, and ZZ Top. Did you know that Billy Gibbons is a close personal friend?"

PG: "Can't do that either. People really identify with that music. Makes them want to keep tuning in. And you know we can't play ZZ Top, it offends some people's sensibilities."

DN: "Well darn, I guess we could do more infomercial stuff. Maybe bring the show down to a first grade level from the second grade level we already do it at."

PG: "Great ideas, Dave. Get on that. And have someone change the look of the website. That will prove we've moved into the 21st century and beyond that old Art Bell stuff."

The suck pulled us back to 1999. I'll keep coming up with ideas until one sticks.

I thought they were funny.

The new website doesn't look as good. The fonts are blocky and too big. The logo looks like "Coast to am Coast". There is utterly no improvement to the website, just decline. Figures.

When you look at Jorch's face on the new website, his wig follows you around the room.

Jorch said his team is continuing to "tweak" the website's look.

Example.

Jorch:  "My face looked wrinkly on the old site -- like Tommy's foreskin.  See what you can do about that.  Also, use some more black on my hair.  Paint it black, like in that Doors song."

Everyone is plugging the C2C website instead of their own stuff, and I guess ass kissing is the only prerequisite for being a guest on the show now.

One of the all time late night classics. George needs a leather suit like Burt.

Jorch is a poor salesman because he is butchering the English language in some of these ads.

One of these nights, the son-of-a-bitch is going to go on the air drunker than normal:

"From the Angel of Shitties on the Ocean Shapific, thish is AM Coasht to AM.  Lesh look at happeneen whush heers.  Holy shit."

Nick el Ass

Caller brings up Art. Jorch: "That was a long time ago." I swear this man has stock answers for everything regarding Art, and can't give credit where it is due.

The Merlin guest, George, said we have to worry about hack attacks.  Funny, I was just thinking about hacks while listening to this guy.
