i prefer older model cars. on most of them, you can put a small stainless steel ball in the door seam where it meets the roof of the car. that sucker will pick up speed as it rolls toward the trunk/rear fender seam and drop off the back of the car.

did you know that police frown on aircraft landing lights being mounted on a car trunk. not to mention the aeroflash strobes... but we knew that already yes?

Our cinemas have a warning just before the film to turn them off or else. If anyone transgresses, two or three burly bouncers pick them out (They're dressed in black with NVG's) tape their mouths up and carry them into the car park and kick the shit out of them. Apparently they don't repeat the offence.

I was actually about 9, I think ( I got hold of some of that Brown acid. The whole ordeal is a little blurry). But I looked much older for my age. I hitched a ride with a VW van full of children of the flower....or something like that.

I was 15 both my older brothers went I was going with them but did not as I  was grounded for getting busted

   When garbage collection day coincides with moving day for college students. There are more New York license plates in Boston right now than Long Island and all 5 boroughs. And their U-Hauls are blocking traffic, the sanitation routes in particular.

College students can afford U-Hauls now?  When I was young we stuck all our possessions in our friend's dad's dirty old work pick-up.  Our stuff would be blowing all over the road, our friend's dad would be sneering at us and bitching about how much stuff we had, and our old secondhand mattress would come out of the truck covered in grease.  But we liked it!

You should see the area of "student" apartments near the University near me these days. Most of the old places, little houses, many of the Frat houses, and etc are torn down and instead it is huge multi-block buildings with "amenities" like roof top pools, WiFi, exercise rooms, coffee shop, etc and crazy rents (but I assume daddy is paying for those.) But even the official student dorms are like luxury: pool with lounge and sunning area and swim up to bar (I don't think with booze but maybe) with big flat screens, air conditioned student gym with indoor running track, all new equipment, etc. I didn't even have air-conditioning in most of the places I lived! Schools are actually getting criticized but administrators admit that "they are competing for students and students want to know amenities." Then they bitch about the high costs and student loans?

Had a good conversation about "Ivy League" schools today with a friend. Up your way there are the most in the country...I'm from the hinterland...not really such a thing (closest is Washington U in St. Louis, U of Chicago, etc)...

I'm not saying they are easy to graduate from, not at all...BUT, they are not the end all, be all either....

A large percent of students come from legacy families...they give large endowments and your kid gets in regardless of academic success...

Funny the "inteligencia" ridicule certain politicians as being "dumb" and they are graduates of those same Ivy League schools...hmmmmm....

      There are sections of Boston where blocks upon blocks are owned/controlled by Boston University and Boston College, and just across the Charles River, Harvard and MIT have similar dominion. Children of privilege abound, whether it's Blue Blood legacy cases or petrodollar parvenus. A lot of "Ivy League Idiots", MIT "geniuses" who get drunk and fall 6 floors to their deaths, or drive 120MPH through crowded streets and run over passerby, then try to use daddy's diplomatic immunity to escape being charged.

The reason I don't post on FB is I truly believe no one gives a shit about "what" I do in my life...they just care about the fact i have a life...all else on FB is ego based self delusion....

Maybe an argument could be made to the fact I write these words and see what others respond....they would be right...
