For people that buy one tomato... really? one tomato? and to help the cashiers that have no clue about the produce, that the store that employs them, sells.

Personally, I find those stickers a godsend.  Previously, I used to get home and wonder, "Now, which one is the tomato, and which one is the avocado?"  Led to many a salad faux pas, I can tell you.  But now, no more!

That`s the ticket. I don`t really have room for a proper garden, but I have a number of potted plants producing tomatoes, peppers, herbs, etc.

When I was a little boy, I would remove the blue sticker from a Chiquita brand banana and place it on my forehead like a third eye.

I was such a lovable little rapscallion ... all transcended with my all-seeing opened third, running around like a wannabe Dalai Lama... but eating a banana like some monkey god.

I'm just going to say from experience, the purple heirlooms turned out to be a little disappointing when I grew them. Not as flavorful as I expected.

Your kids are all subconsciously "following the light" when they put the stickers on their foreheads - Chiquita chakra headlamps illuminating the way.

After dealing with bad side effects from a blood pressure medication my VA doctor just prescribed, I find out it's the same problem I experienced from the same drug prescribed by the same doctor 4 years ago. Who then refused to refund my cost (3 months worth) of that medicine prescribed in error because I should have know in advance he prescribed it before.... The VA medical system, in general, is full of 9 to 5'ers who forget that patients are people, not just a means to an end-of-the-week pay check. Since I wasn't killed in action, I evidently didn't give enough to my country.

Little stickers might be more useful if they gave a variety name in the case of stickers on the mangoes.  When I look in most stores here I see what appears to be 2 varieties  a little yellow one (Lom Doc Mai-though I have seen another name on them lately)which is obvious and then the green /red kind which could be several varieties. Generally a Tommy Adkins  as that is a common in older plantings. There are other varieties than a TA that I would prefer as I have to floss after a TA as they put little fibers all through your teeth rather than a Kent or a Keitt which are pretty fiber free but have a similar skin look. Likewise, I hate to see stickers that say tangerine rather than variety. Same goes for papaya.
