My dog does not understand the words "sit" "stay" "lay down" &c, and how to behave when hearing these words, this is not annoying.

What is annoying is that he understands the words "eye boogers"

Pronouncing pecan PEE-Can, instead of Puh-CON.

Those folks are taking a risk when ordering pee can pie

Never heard it pronounced Puh-CON before.  Is that a California thing?

Interesting.  I guess I've never listened to an American pronouncing pecan before.

"PreCan" or Pre-Canadian is racist.

I am annoyed...

Pee bottle.  Bottles work better than cans because you can put the cap on and avoid spilling your pee.

Two solid months of sappy Christmas movies on the friggin Hallmark channel.  Who watches these?  What do they do, gorge on Santa-shaped sugar cookies and candy-canes while marathoning these cheesy holiday fables?  What is wrong with people?

There's always the Lifetime channel if you want to get your estrogen on.

What's up with all the Christmas crap out?  I started noticing it in stores in freaking September this year.  I like Christmas but let's wait until after Thanksgiving before its crammed down our throats.

I noticed that as soon as the Halloween gear came down in the local mall, the Christmas stuff went up.  Hell, a huge artificial Christmas tree is already up in the central mall area.  Merry Christmas, all.  ;)

Indeed. I, too, have noticed this, it is as if Turkey Day doesn't exist. I suspect it may be related to the fact that many big retail sites--Amazon and others--now have not just Black Fridays but whole Black Months. The sooner they can start suckering the masses into running up more debt to acquire more crap, the better.

I'm starting to feel sensitive, just thinking about it.  Please stop me before I start feeling all inclusive and stuff.

So, 2 close friends, who have been a couple for a couple decades, are talking about tying the knot. Both married in the past, with kids, very hesitant about making the final leap. Believing that marriage is just a formality, like many folks today, they want to make it more fun than ritual. Knowing them so well, knowing their personalities, their kids, their vices, and passions, who better to marry them than someone who has a stake in their happiness.....me. Here is the somewhat annoying part: It took me 2 minutes and $45 dollars through Paypal to become an ORDAINED minister. Now that I am referred to, officially and legally, as Reverend, I can join these good friends  together for life.(or however long it lasts, she is a great lawyer)
I can also official perform funerals and baptisms. No official training is required, but there are online courses through the site on how to be.... godly, I guess. I chose the 1 year ordination in case I feel limited in any of my current, very socially acceptable vices. I am hoping to start a new greeting and farewell to be associated with my branch of the church, hope it catches on: Peace be on you! And my congregation replies: Peace on you too!   By the way, I get a decal for my cars window that says "Clergy" so all the good parking spots are now at my disposal!

Or ones who are just clueless, so first you clean up their mess, then you do their work.

I work in a neighborhood overrun by homeless people.  And I hate them.  Yes, I am using the word hate directed at this 'underprivileged' group of people.  Know why?  Because they are not underprivileged, they are scam artists.  I see it every day, the same people, the same stories; these people should have been actors.  The speed at which they can cry on demand for some poor tourist is astonishing.  They go instantly from laughing it up with their buddies in the alley to giving an overbearing sob story to some poor family of four from Ferndale.

I can't walk 2 blocks to the market and back without getting hit up for money at least 6 times.  I am not exaggerating.  I know for a fact that some of these people have bank accounts flush with cash.  I also know for a fact that you can pretty much get free food any time of the day here in this bleeding heart metropolis of enablers.  It's a non-stop party in the streets for these people and they get by on victimizing people through guilt and scare tactics.  They are human parasites.  My fair city has dealt with the problem by running these people out of all the nicer surrounding areas, and corralling them all into MY neighborhood.  And they are damn lucky that I don't run things.  My homeless policy as mayor?  Work camps.

Hope that wasn't too political for you Onan.  It's what pissed me off today.

From personal experience, I have found that many, but not all, of homeless people are addicts and will do anything to address their habit. If you give them money, they buy dope. If you give them a bicycle to get around, they pawn it.  If you give them anything at all you can't get rid of them. One reason for this homelessness is that to justify their existence with artificial work and to divert public scrutiny from their own corrupt activities, politicians and their enforcers have created meaningless laws designed to incarcerate people into a for-profit prison system. Heavily armed clowns in uniforms crawl on all fours in a citizen's car, snorting and grunting as they perspire with extreme effort, to find that errant flake of marijuana. Their porcine eyes will shine with glee if they find a pill that a passenger may have dropped. One they have their victim put in a cage, they may get a stripe on their sleeve or an award. The victim will have to come up with thousands of dollars to feed and help perpetuate the corrupt system. If they are lucky enough to get out, they will be forever branded a jailbird, a felon, and maybe even a scumbag, and have almost no chance of employment.  Many of them will have no homes to go back to, because through the passage of Zero Tolerance laws, the government legally stole all their personal belongings, vehicles, and maybe the home itself. Everybody knows how corrupt the police are and how thoroughly corrupt the justice system is as well. All eyes are turned towards the evil homeless, that they helped create, and the thievery, oppression, and even murder propagated by the corrupt officials are laughed off as some kind of a zany joke.  The most tragic aspect of this situation is that many of these homeless are veterans, no doubt thrown into this plight by incompetent Generals, Colonels, Majors, etc. who were sucking up to politicians or who were politicians themselves seeking another Golden Goody on their uniform or another plaque for their wall.
