President Donald J. Trump

A sample of the rhetoric:

“trying to replace the Bill of Rights with fascist precepts lifted verbatim from Mein Kampf.” Lacey Clay, (D), Missouri.

"“I could not help remembering how 40 years ago economic turmoil had conspired with Nazi nationalism and militarismâ€"all intensified by Germany’s defeat in World War Iâ€"to send the world reeling into catastrophe. . . . It is not entirely mistaken to contemplate our postelection state with fear and trembling.” - Dr. John Roth.

I'd like to say this was said about Trump, but in fact they were speaking about Ronald Reagan.

The benefit Trump has is that he isn't judged on the same level as a devout Christian like Cruz. One slip and Cruz is gone in the eyes of the evangelicals. Trump is treated like a sinner but at the end of the day he's less of a sinner than Hillary and that might get him some votes with evangelicals.

Yeah, you're right. They know Trump is a sinner, but Cruz, well, they don't know what he is. But they also know that Trump will leave them alone to do their thing and even defend them if Harry Reid wants to ban Christmas or god knows what.

I still remember how badly the GOP establishment treated Ron Paul.

fox news shat all over him back in 2008.  hannity was the worst offender, as i recall.  i'll never forgive.

Trump over Clinton all day.

Edit: Per CNN poll- Cruz & Rubio both beat Clinton in the general election, but Trump would get stomped???  Bullshit!

I'm not sure which one will further ruin the country less.  Maybe Trump, since he believes in Capitalism.

Also, I don't believe that CNN poll is anywhere near correct either.  If it comes to The Hill and The Donald vying for the Presidency, and I think it will, I think Hillary will win by a small margin.

Looking forward to watching Super Tuesday unfold on my TV tonight.  Expecting Trump to do very well.

LOL about Mondale.  I'm with you regarding the book library and the horny females not the pot though. I don't have anything against pot, it's just not my bag. I'll take a full bar with a fantastic margarita machine.  Also maybe add a private movie theater to my palace and a dance floor.  Then we'll be rockin'!  :D  Oh,and a dungeon that would be retrofitted with all of the accoutrements of pleasure.  ;D

Yeah, I'm probably going to the other place.  :P

Are you watching "Lucifer" on Fox, Monday nights? He has all the stuff you want, and based on the show, he's really not such a bad guy. He does choose to live in L.A., which is convenient I suppose for his lifestyle, but other than that downside, you should have a new fantasy figure to look up to.

Oh, no. You only got a little taste of the trumpster.  Although, as far as I`m concerned, his bizarre refusal to disavow Duke and the KKK on a Sunday news show is absolutely disqualifying. Any person so tone deaf as to NOT understand the ramifications of  not quashing the slightest whiff of doubt in regards to racist idiots like David Duke, can not ever hold the  office of POTUS.

You should really do a bit of research on Trump. He`s a raging bigot; a terrible business person, a mysoginistic asshole who sleeps around on his wives, a serial liar, con artist, a hypocrit of the first order, and did I mention he is affiliated with the mob? You know how many lives this idiot has destroyed? Of course you don`t, because you don`t research. The man is patently stupid. But go ahead and vote for him. Waste your vote. Just know he has NO CHANCE OF BEATING HILLARY:

You know, with all your criticisms of Trump, you have to give him credit for one thing. He has managed to unite people of all stripes in a shared belief that he should not, cannot be POTUS. Myself,  I might even ride a Tea Party bus to an anti-Trump rally. Well, I don't know, maybe. That's a real sacrifice, though probably worth it.

I want Trump to win, so I can watch the progressive tears flow...

Should be interesting tonight to watch Megyn Kelly's ever-evolving face as it melts.

I'm looking forward to when Krauthammer finally melts down. He always has this look on his face these days like he's about to say "fuck it, you all want a circus clown as president, fine. I'll be in the green room popping Quaaludes for the next 8 years."

QuoteDavid Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, told his readers last summer that Donald Drumpf was running for president to promote his own brand and that the “whole con might end well before the first snows in Sioux City and Manchester.”

That was quite measured compared to James Fallows, the national correspondent of more than three decades for The Atlantic, who wrote confidently â€" and with his own bold for emphasis â€" “Donald Drumpf will not be the 45th president of the United States. Nor the 46th, nor any other number you might name. The chance of his winning the nomination and election is exactly zero.”

Those two mandarins weren’t alone in dismissing Drumpf’s chances. Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza wrote in July that “Donald Drumpf is not going to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016.” And numbers guru Nate Silver told readers as recently as November to “stop freaking out” about Drumpf’s poll numbers.

Now all these journalists, and more, are coming to grips with their mistaken assessments. And some, too, are freaking out.
