I noticed in the last quarter century there been a real push to "worship you employer" not just appreciate but "Worship" which I think brought the wage gab between everybody as workers are willing to have their benefits cut and wages low while the CEO get raises among raises.

The Trump phenomenon seems like the end product of decades of this push, especially in the RW circles.

I read some pro-Trump tweets, and so many are like talking about how he's "a boss who's going to take care of everything" It really weird.

BTW, Trump promised to release his tax returns before the primaries began. He lied, of course. But that`s what Trump does. He lies A LOT.

Okay, well my position is that you feel the need to move the goalposts in order to make Putin look good and Obama look bad. Why, I don't know unless you hate Obama that much. (You're not a Russian agent.) Neither really needs your help, unfortunately, if you take a look globally.

But, in the case of Crimea and Ukraine generally, Putin miscalculated and Obama did enough to let Putin fall on his face. The Russian military already occupied and controlled Crimea, before the invasion. They basically gave it their official stamp, although nobody else of note recognizes it. Putin failed with his counterrevolution in Kiev and the chocolate candies guy is still running the show in Ukraine. The Russians can't do much more than parade around on the border, kill people, fire artillery and shoot down civilian airliners. Meanwhile, their economy and prestige (ha, ha on that one) are paying the price.

You can assert what you want, but Putin screwed up on Ukraine. He gets the prize, not Obama. If you want to take a shot at Obama, all you have to do is move south on the map to the Middle East. There, he handed Putin an engraved invitation and Putin said "Da!"

What goal posts? The man achieved his objectives, we did not achieve ours. It's literally that simple. Next you'll try to spin it that our objective was to trick him into invading.

The groups and people criticizing Trump makes me want to go that way on the 1st. I still have questions and a sneaking, conspiratorial thinking that, somehow, he is a Clinton plot but maybe he really is in this. I like most of what he says and don't like the groups and people who criticize him, so maybe he is the choice?

In the primary, at least, I'll likely go Trump. Think he is soft on some things like immigration but will likely go for him. But Yes. People running for office can say all kinds of things (Bush Jr promised no 'nation building' and less foreign interventions, Obama claimed he liked the country, Bush said no new taxes, etc ) that aren't true or, when in office, their views 'evolve.' So, sometimes, you can gain information by looking at the people/groups who are so against the person.

I still have suspicions but will likely go Trump on the 1st. I would love to see a Sanders/Trump race for the fireworks and shock to the Parties but I'm guessing Billary will be the opponent of whoever. Thought Bloomberg might try to come in with his billions and news operation but I guess he isn't.

Yeah, I'm not a 1! etc type that want the world to burn but at the same time think some drastic change needs to happen to shake things up and if it is Trump, so be it. I don't think he would be a Hitler or whatever. Even with the Bush/Obama unitary executive and expansion of Presidential power I doubt he would get anywhere near that level. I think Bernie would do more potential damage if elected and was able to initiate all his policies, even if he thinks they are for the public good.

Doesn't really matter to me, he retired and I'm not a Dem. I just thought it was silly that the left hung the guy for being reasonable. NPR did that with Juan Williams too. I found it all in bad form, vindictive. I'm guessing they'll hang Bernie like that too before it's all over. He'll have to pay for daring to take on the DNC and Hillary.
