I have no respect for Cruz. His campaign sent my mother an email using my dead grandmother's name claiming she wanted my mother to vote for Cruz and donate $5. What an ahole.

That's reaching new depths of bad taste. How did they word this email, as if your grandmother was still alive, or else, was giving election advice from beyond the grave? I wouldn't mind seeing this piece of trash.

Dems and the GOP are all freaking the fuck out. They think they got Bernie beat and they just might. Most Democrats are to dumb to realise that Hillary is so full of shit. She is going to lie and cheat her way in. As for the Republicans they do not know what the hell to do besides freak the hell out. So it looks like Hillary and Trump will be facing off. That would be fun!  And I'd hope as a more serious candidate than Andrew Basiago or that Transhumanism guy who was on Dark City.  (I still like Bateman's surmise that Hillary will be indicted on The Email Thang, as I like to call it, will have to drop out, and Biden will come in.  Wow, what a circus that would be!).

Since I pretty much have little faith in any of these candidates changing the USA much at all for the better, and likely for the worse, I'm just going to glean as much entertainment from this Presidential race as I possibly can.

I think the Dems are worried. I'm sure they'll try to paint Trump with a war on the minorities schtick, but the variables for Trump are completely different than for any other candidate. The Dems have a problem, internally they know that while people will vote for Hillary, few in the party actually like her. They also know that Trump won't follow the rules and will hit Hillary constantly with her past. Trump can't be beat regarding ratings for news stations, so for the first time in my memory the coverage won't be stacked against the Republican candidate, as it was for Romney who damned nearly disappeared for months at one point from the media eye. That said, Trump can also monumentally screw up in ways the might not have been able to do in the primaries.

I was fascinated with politics by the age of 8 and well remember loving Firing Line. William F. Buckley is my Big Bird. That said, I started out as a voter as a libertarian, grew more pragmatic with age and joined the GOP, then during W. I left it and went independent moderate softcore libertarian. I'd still be there, but Ron and Rand Paul sort of enticed me back into the fray of the GOP but I'm far from a social conservative. My support of Trump stems from the fact that I do not believe it is possible for the GOP to win any longer with the layout of the electoral college map. Only a wildcard can defeat Hillary, and the only wildcard up there is Trump.

With that, I respect many people of the Book and even envy them at times because faith is not an easy thing for me.  People keep talking about a personal relationship with the Lord.  They talk about having conversations with the Lord but what proof is there of that?  Show me the money. 

   I'm a Christian but I'm sure the fundamentalists would shake their heads and say, Lord, help that man to come to his senses.  Many would call me a heretic. I'm fine with that and I'll never tell someone not to pray for me as I can use all the help I can get.

There are some unconfirmed reports coming out that the Rubio campaign is using Robo calls featuring people who identify themselves as KKK members or white supremacists and are calling on behalf of Donald Trump.

Well, I have a difference with certain viewpoints on Cruz's piety. I don't believe Cruz is religious at all, I think he's just using it as a schtick. His campaign tactics have not been in line with a Christian, they have been nothing less than sleazy. To their credit, it appears that the evangelicals saw right through it in SC and went Trump. Good for them, I'll only go to war with the religious folks if they start voting their religion and in this case they do not appear to be doing so. I think they believe that Trump will just leave them alone as far as the religion stuff is concerned, and I'm totally for the idea of leaving them alone to believe what they want and enjoy life in their own way. But the legislating morality stuff loses me every time.

I am a person that needs facts to really believe something and when I look into something to find the truth, I often find that the reality of things are much different than what people believe. But at the same time, I can't really prove that the universe isn't a Matrix-like computer simulation, and if it were then the religions were programmed to be there so who am I to say you don't end up with Jesus in the end, or Buddha, or in my case a library full of great books, 19 tons of pot and a gaggle of horny females?

   I'm a Christian but I'm sure the fundamentalists would shake their heads and say, Lord, help that man to come to his senses.  Many would call me a heretic. I'm fine with that and I'll never tell someone not to pray for me as I can use all the help I can get.

I grew up Catholic, so I was raised to believe that the fundamentalists were going to hell for their Protestantism. Then the Mormons knocked on the door and tried to snow me into thinking they had a new prophet. I won't even get into the scientologists. Then I realized all of those people are fucking insane and got as far from that shit as I could and focused on having sex with girls, which they all unanimously agree is bad and going to send me to hell. Life is nice as a result.

The forwarding idea is no problem as long as the forwarder/endorser is legitimate. In this case, Rick Perry may have been. The real Trump?  So one small incident over the weekend "Trumps" 40 years of being in the media spotlight for Mr. Trump?  Everything you ever wanted to know about Trump is out there.  And to be honest about all the other candidates if you want to take the time to research.  Sadly a lot of people hang their coattails on the latest gossip and hyperbole.  When they would be much more informed if they took everything that shows up in the media with a grain of salt and dug a bit to find the truth.

Sorry, just because Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and the establishment say things are one way, isn't enough to convince me.  I mean really, is there anything they could possibly reveal or say that would change peoples mind when Trump has been in the spotlight for so long?  The last debate was a huge win for Trump because it solidified the hard truth.  That Cruz and Rubio don't have enough moxie to convince the American people why they are more suited for the job than Trump.  Throwing insults at each other just made it look like a reality show.

The real Trump?  So one small incident over the weekend "Trumps" 40 years of being in the media spotlight for Mr. Trump?  Everything you ever wanted to know about Trump is out there.  And to be honest about all the other candidates if you want to take the time to research.  Sadly a lot of people hang their coattails on the latest gossip and hyperbole.  When they would be much more informed if they took everything that shows up in the media with a grain of salt and dug a bit to find the truth.

I don't recall Cruz insulting Trump during the last debate.   He did attack Trump on policy differences and other unwise decisions Trump made in the past.  Rubio was the one insulting Trump.

Oh, no. You only got a little taste of the trumpster.  Although, as far as I`m concerned, his bizarre refusal to disavow Duke and the KKK on a Sunday news show is absolutely disqualifying. Any person so tone deaf as to NOT understand the ramifications of  not quashing the slightest whiff of doubt in regards to racist idiots like David Duke, can not ever hold the  office of POTUS.

He`s a raging bigot; a terrible business person, a mysoginistic asshole who sleeps around on his wives, a serial liar, con artist, a hypocrit of the first order, and did I mention he is affiliated with the mob?
