I wonder how many of those Hin Leong trading owned? I don't know if it has really made the news- but Singapore's billionaire oil trader Lim Kuim went bankrupt. I believe the articles that I read said that he owned over 100 oil tankers (and that branch hit bankruptcy as well.) They say he left around 4 billion in unpaid loans owed to the banksters.

Like a Persian rug is there a purposeful defect in the more traditional terrorist dishrag scarf made by this Hirbawi? Because there is no perfection save Allah. Is this also why some, albeit not enough, IEDs or vest sometimes fail to blow? Those experts must build in some failure to praise him.

Oh, bravo!  I shall be every shade of green.  I note the spelling variant.  Given the freedom that transliteration allows, where there are no standard rules for converting letters between two alphabets on a 1:1 basis (and probably no agreed-upon spelling or pronunciation among largely illiterate populations) we might make Walks happy if we dub these plague rags "coofiyat."

As a management consulting firm McKinsey recognized early on that corporations could increase profits by shifting production to “offshore” locations where labor costs were much lower.  It then proceeded to persuade its clients to pursue such retrenchment and to facilitate those moves by cultivating relationships with foreign governments and manufacturers and acting as the go between in deal making.  Having established those relationships, which worked out very well for the foreign business entities, It then became the management consultant of choice for many of those self same foreign entities, most notably China.  It has been serving as a advisor, public relations advocate and lobbyist for China among others for a number of years now.

I don’t think McKinsey set out to strip the U.S. of its manufacturing capacity and help China become the largest and most powerful economy.  I think it just followed the money at every step which is what any business concern might do and is in fact a fiduciary responsibility of management in the case of publicly held companies.  At some point McKinsey must have realized that the outsourcing that it facilitated and its representation of foreign concerns was working to degrade the U.S. economy, but, companies like McKinsey are amoral, non ideological and entirely profit driven.  Nothing McKinsey is doing or has done is in violation of law or regulation including the contributions it makes to various campaign funds to ensure that legislation to curtail or reverse the migration of U.S. jobs overseas is not enacted.  Trump is the only one who has taken positive steps in that direction through policy revisions and executive orders and that among other things is why the Dems and their corporate partners are determined to remove him from office.  I can see why there is a lot of resentment towards McKinsey but the fault lies primarily with our politicians.

I go into the science (as such) and semantics, possibly. Sanitation, Sterilization, Cleaning, DEFINITIONS and why they don't define differences? Months ago I was asking people about 'what about UV?' Ionization? What about ECMO (used now in one case at least I read about!) Bring back Iron-Lungs (passive vs active.) Latex vs Nitrile- or other in combo? N-95? There are other N-rated masks and why no talk (except here by me and a few) about suits (TyChem better than Tyvek?) And I said the "mask" deal was triage. Not told to do because shortage. As are ventilators, really.  It is an insane situation. Hyped up by "them." I can't even donate old clothes, furniture, VHS tapes, and crap I've cleaned out of attic and closets. Because, in a crisis, people don't need stuff?

The mask fiasco is a great example of bureaucracy at its finest.  The CDC no doubt had studies, models, plans, etc. way prior to Corona Chan.  "For a severe virus outbreak, we'll need to use N95 masks, especially for the medical community." Glad to see they carried this forward with either rapid build plans, stockpiles, etc. rather than just leave "the procurement of the recommended PPE will be left to the student."   : Bitten in the ass, one more time.  Thanks, Big Brother!

Dear Mr. Dubb,

I need your advice on hairstyling.   Like most, I haven’t had a haircut in some time now and while I stopped wearing my hair “high and tight” when I retired from the Navy I have never had to deal with hair as long as mine is now.   I am considering going to a pony tail, man bun or dreadlocks.  Which do you think would work best for me or should I just continue to stuff the overhang in my ears as I am presently doing.
