It may have escaped your notice but we are currently living under a minimalist dictum brought on by the overrun of graphic tees and overt branding where no one may wear a printed symbol or logo of any kind, leaving it up to the fabric and quality/nature of the weave to convey a sense of style.  Unfortunately many traditional weaves and fabrics have strong cultural associations and risk the charge of appropriation.  The Bretons have yet to object to the widespread use of their stripes (it has been out of their hands for at least 150 years in any event, as far away as the Russian telnyashka) which is why you see that everywhere among the fashionable.

I'm afraid that, until some enterprising fiber artist comes up with a well-researched and founded pattern that conveys little-r republican sympathies in a striking and aesthetically pleasing manner (perhaps a tartan? the Scots are usually reasonable about these things) this current wave of resistance will be without a voice.

There is always shirtlessness which, with the onset of summer and the lockdown of the old and obese, looks to me to be a viable and visually appealing option, having a long association with the oppressed and discontented (cf. the descamisados of Argentina).  Work on those crunches, boys.

Perhaps a coofiyah in houndstooth;  cream/harvestCornYellow with "corn-row braided" embroidered "CornTeen" as an overlay in a somewhat brighter shade of yellow?  Maybe Sunshine Yellow?

I would knock up a quick sketch, but am currently turning oldish milk into Ricotta cheese, and must monitor temperature on the slowly warming milk.  I think Cheesecake will be made with the curd, & the whey saved for bread-making (both freeze well I have found)

I digress...

The "CornTeen" sticker for street signs isn't passe as well, is it?  And bright yellow spray-paint tags on empty schools, hospitals etc?  The T-shirt was an afterthought, honestly.

Somewhere I have a postcard like this (I know, there is a thread here somewhere for postcards...) I always loved that before anybody had ever heard of Hitler, the corn palace used his symbol (yes, I am aware of the long history behind it.) Isn’t it ironic that the symbol for good faith in business became the symbol for demonic Jew killers? I wonder though if Hitler had just wanted to stop doing business with Jewish bankers instead of killing them would he have been considered just as evil? My guess is yes.

I love the idea of a golden houndstooth borrowing colors from Indian corn like WOTR's corn palace -- that is fire!  I have an old Harris Tweed jacket like that I previously considered autumnal but it is now the very thing for spring.

Unfortunately the sets for Milan and Paris F/W 2020 were also minimalist except for Prada as always (Dior IIRC going so far as to send models down a moving airport walkway, considering walking itself too much expression) so they offer very little visual guidance but I think we may hazard branding the color yellow itself as a badge of resistance.  You are truly a man of vision and any of the major fashion houses would do well to seek your counsel, if not your employment.

We will have to distinguish our yellow corn-ear from a banana and I would propose the iconic plumes (to take a cue from Walks), citing the corn-god Mondamin's description in Hiawatha:

Through the splendor of the sunset;

Anyhow, in between my cheesemaking, cutting a half a cord of wood, "trimming the shrubs" and delivering foodstuffs to my mother;  I found a minute to knock out a sketch of the proposed "coofiyah" pattern.  I think it is quite summerry(sp?):
