Now THAT was a good interview.  I noticed that Maher didn't attempt to get snarky with Crenshaw.  Has Maher's interview/discussion style change?
It may be early, but I'm with you Kid, this Crenshaw has a presence and the demeanor to be a solid Political leader. Guess that is why he was elected.  We for sure know that he is a combat leader.

If your idea of solid political leadership is letting himself be mouth-pumped by the most ludicrous fraud in modern political history, I guess so.

Problem solved! Who said these people are dumb as shit?

I like the idea that we would have those cool gold shields to block the sun and also ability to regulate temperature. Like a personal HVAC unit! Would be good for the Texas summers (and spring, fall, and 'winter' sometimes.) And bring jobs to whoever makes those suits. Regular Tyvek will make you sweat too much and doesn't protect against Corona-Chan (but likely better than nothing) and Tychem doesn't have the the temperature regulation- or the cool gold face-shield like a real space suit does!

But what if it's an illegal in a suit? You might not see them in time. Before you  know it you've been robbed, sodomized and covered in harmful germs. And it's an ideal defence against your pepper spray, which I know you like to squirt on brown people as a precautionary measure anyway.

It's hard to imagine you out on the links. I bet you have a swing that makes you look like a gravedigger, and the wind must play havoc with your combover.

I'll have you know that I paid for a good hunk of my education by doing skunk work out at the local links.  As a working man, I didn't have it given to me free like you silver spoon lot did.  Cleaning some assholes golf shoes wasn't the most elevating work but one added benefit was all the free golf I wanted.  At the time, I was solidly above average.  Even now, I'm not too shabby.

What is with the "comb over" blast?  My lettuce is just fine.  Unlike yours, which you keep in a shoebox and weep over nightly.

My bunker is already pretty much a ground-bound space station in east Texas.  It would be nice to have EVA capability from the F-250 shuttle craft, especially for those lovely, blast furnace summers.

I imagine it's a public course. I can't imagine a fellow like you getting into any respectable golf club. That paint-stripping Detroit accent is sure to count against you for one thing.

Ha. I knew a guy who build a house out of cement (for 'engineering challenge' did it all himself mainly using simple-machines to pour/lift, etc (said hardest part was hinges for a door a foot-thick of cement) and bought at auction a yuuge HVAC unit from a County building that was going to be demolished. He also bought a yuuge industrial lathe at auction for his "projects," of which he wouldn't discuss. This was before "flat-screens" as Norry calls them but he was predicting that soon he would be able to hang screens on walls and "it would look like you have a view of anywhere, any season.." I still wonder what happened to that guy and monitor newspapers in case something 'pops up.' His wife we never met, except once, at a Christmas party and apparently she couldn't drive and was from NYC. So, imagine, you are now living in Texas, in a rural area, can't drive, in essentially a concret bunker, with some wild-eyed engineer. It is like a Lifetime movie.

Of course it's a public course - I am a man of the people after all.  Unlike some aristocrat I know, strutting across the moor, shooting a brace of Quail and then hollering at some Scotsman to go bound out after the poor dead things and retrieve them like a dog.  I admit that I've kept my manner of speaking, even after decades of living in Dixie, but it is a nice manner.  Quite beautiful actually.   Sound just like Carl Gratiot here.  He does a nice three part series on how to enunciate properly.    Listen and learn you R.P. bitch...................................

Somehow I think K_Dubb might dig the jodhpurs for style but SV would like the riding-crop/swagger-stick (and slapping with the gloves,) considering that common peccadillo of the Brits.

Still not really sure what the deal is with the malaria drug + zinc.  Seen a report from the VA that was not encouraging but it was just a review of records and they gave it to a bunch of guys that were about dead anyway.  What definitely seems certain is that camel piss does not work.  In fact if you say it does, you get dragged in front of a TV camera and have to recant.

Even if it is we should just stay locked down forever, just to be safe. Safety always over freedom! Why take a chance?! Even if they come up with a “vaccine” for this there will just be something else around the next corner. Big Brother will take care of all our needs, comrade. It really is best this way.

More killed from Skeeter-born illnesses over the years. What do we do ban DDT? What did Injuns do? Pine-tar n alligator fat rub. Eskimos? Bear fat and pine concoction. Even now in remote Siberia regions crazy sap  and tar smoke lathering. And they still all still go/went out hunting game. And no social distancing. (One doesn't say- what goes on in yurt or igloo when lathered in whale grease and surviving on seal blubber- stays in yurt or igloo.) Even in Norway, non-Sami, even in old times, rendered fat used to keep cold at bay. And lye wasn't used for soap but to dry fish! We gotta toughen up!

If there is one thing that I have learned during this outbreak- it is that I prefer the infected to wear hazmat suits. One small bullet entry hole, one exit... And they bleed out in a contained suit. A bit of duct tape over the holes, and you can drag them safely to the nearest mass grave

I'm glad that I've been in my bunker dressed in my hazmat suit and respirator since January. The few hundred people that I have had to shoot to keep them off my property has been a big part of my successfully avoiding getting infected and being dead...

It didn't take too long. Daniel W. Erickson out of Bakersfield CA. Co-owner of accelerated urgent care. A chain of 8 urgent care centers in Bakersfield and Fresno. I don't see any major red flags- he is a real doctor (and does not just deal with facelifts and botox.) /acceleratedurgentcare.com/ He is sort of an emergency doctor- but his specialty is neuromusculoskeletal medicine.

He does (obviously) have a lot on the line. His clinics will be not able to do anything elective- which appears to be the life blood of clinics. No doubt his clinics will be suffering financially. But the info he is giving really is statistics and not falsified.

Very interesting find. Thanks.

Of course, I know people like this exist. I tip them at Xmas, occasionally hang one of them when I catch them poaching rabbits on my land, but it's another thing to get them up close like this. I think we can all agree that the Boston accent is the worst of the worst but this isn't far behind. It's a nice blend of incipient criminality and obvious retardation. However you managed to keep a woman around sounding like that is one of the world's great mysteries. Is the dear lady hearing impaired?

All one has to do is look at the data to conclude it’s nothing more than slightly higher flu season. If this were serious there would be millions dead. There’s not.

The lockdowns do NOT prevent the spread of woohoo floohoo. They only lengthen the time it takes for it to spread, and thus lengthen the time for humanity’s immune system to develop herd immunity. Which is the only thing that will make yeehaw flew irrelevant.

The destruction of the economy is what lockdowns will accomplish. Hence why every communist Democrat politician is making every excuse they can to drag this shit out forever.

K_Dubb

I think herd immunity (basically infecting everybody, or 70-90% of us as you usually see cited) is the ultimate end point, barring a vaccine, but it's a question of how fast you get there.  Even the antibody test results showing surprisingly high exposure rates (20% in NYC already and I think the one John Roberts was talking about was something like 40% in LA*) are a long way away from that, i. e. there's still a lot of the population to run through and take their chances.  So it's still slowing the rate of infection to what the hospitals and morgues can handle.

Personally I think that, since 90% of deaths (and probably a similar percentage of serious illnesses requiring hospitalization) are over 60 (WA numbers), people should look at locking down only the old.  Herd immunity among the young would build up faster (with a few regrettable anecdotes of young, healthy people that croak, to be touted by fearmongers) and protect everyone else eventually.

*and these aren't random samples, either, so while they're surprisingly high nobody knows what the real rate is
