Those Virginia hams can be tasty, too.

My favorite snitch tip was "De Blasio was performing oral sex on a dude out back of the 7-11"

The cool kids watch on free satellite tv. Ideally on a b&w tube tv. For full effect. And snow when off.  But, yes, awesome stuff. Even though he thought radio was dead I think he incorporated 'radio' into tv so well, Like Webb and made an awesome transition with keeping the style, in a way.

Walter Jennings?

Huh? I was referring to how he said he wanted to take Trump out to the back of the gym. ;)

I watched the old TZ shows on PBS back in the day when I was in jr high and high school...from 10-11pm...2 episodes...I had no idea that an entire season was 1 hour each episode! I'm working towards that season.

Then, PBS started airing old shows of Dark Shadows...oof, don't get me started how I loved that old show.

Ha. I won a tshirt from a marathon broadcast to win some quiz call-in. Likely more gas cost (it was back when end of Carter? No thinking back early Reagan) than the cheap ass shirt. But was happy at time to win, don't even remember the question. But likely easy and just 'give a shirt' if you show up after.  :-[

Thank-you. I was seriously wondering if we have hit the point where we need a snitch line. It seems the answer is a bag of dicks and a few cock pics (is Anthony Weiner still in NYC?)

Jojo

Aw c'mon.  I don't like him any more than anyone else but that was a noble aim.

Of course it is! Which is exactly why globalists/communists don’t like it.

Those groups all overlap if I am an example.  Back to Covid-19.

Now that the entire world economy has crashed and burned, the UN is saying that  "we could be facing multiple famines of biblical proportions within a short few months." The UN is now estimating that "265M people will starve in 2020 if no immediate action is taken."

I'm going to leave this to the conspiracy people here without providing much for comment.* I will say that I disagreed with Trump's initial response to leave everything open. However, he did close the boarders, and he was the one saying that shutting down everything might lead to worse consequences and more deaths...

What is the UN saying now? "“It is a hammer blow for millions more who can only eat if they earn a wage. Lockdowns and global economic recession have already decimated their nest eggs.”

The UN's solution to prevent starvation is for donor countries to give them 1.9 billion so that they can stockpile "three months" of food. Yes, just give the international bureaucrats who answer to nobody billions and all will be fine. If the UN is now buying food with unlimited cash, prices should go up and cause even more starvation as fewer people can buy food for themselves. I'm guessing that the solution then is for a few billion more to be sent to the generous and selfless UN bureaucrats.

Lead by Justine, Canada is one of the first in line to fire off cash. "Canada, Brazil and Egypt committed to supporting the UN system at the global, regional and country level, the statement added."  Hopefully that will secure the idiots seat on the UN. His campaign to be seen as an important international leader is getting a little expensive.

*After reading this, I realize that I was not able to avoid adding a "little" completely unbiased commentary.  ;)

Surprising side effect or expected outcome?  You decide.  The medicine kills orders of magnitude more than the disease.  Fortunately the UN and such have lost all credibility.

I would say a completely unexpected and unforeseeable consequence of shutting down the whole world. (Well, except for China. I believe they are back to running flat out in order to sell us what we require during this trying time.)

Knock-off electronic components, out of patent medicinals and cheap underwear..

U of M is saying they could lose a billion dollars by the end of the year.

https://www.freep.com/story/news/education/2020/04/20/university-michigan-makes-cuts-stem-loss-schlissel/5166574002/

Looks like they will have to make some cuts.  Took a look at the list of Majors they offer.  I figured it was bad but it is border line silly.  You could major in Music or Music Education.  If those weren't quite right there, is Music Theatre (have to spell it the Brit way BTW) or Musicology.  If you have a less practical bent, well there is Music Theory.  If you want to get down and dirty there is Organ, Winds and Percussion, Piano or Strings.  There are even a few more in the musical arena.  Common sense would dictate to merge that lot into a single Music degree but I bet they'll whack Engineering first.
