...He informed his first guest he was known as "Captain Bizarre" when he was working in Detroit.

More like "Captain Sweatpants".

Now it's "for the veterans"? I don't remember that angle from last year. What a gimmick for a shitty way to milk what's left of C2C.
When you don't "do it for the children," you can always use the vets or have Alyssa Milano sobbing about some creature.

Or victims of poorly-written pizza roll instructions.

I'm surprised I haven't heard a Noory-voiced PSA for that travesty.

Who is George Noory again?  I forgot.

GNS!

It had been months since I last listened to a Noory-hosted C2C.  After last night's Snoorfest, I'll say one thing for Jorch.  The suck is consistent.

Yes, George Noory's War On Christmas continues

Captain Bizarre, George Noory, Richard Norry, Dave, Dexter Moneterrey, the Nighthawk....the man has many names but they all suck.
You forgot the magic word, 'Turkey'!

Snorge even mentioned that as the "secret word" when he was plugging his date site last night.  The way he said it, it sounded like even he was wondering about the wisdom of using that word for Wackadoodledate.com.  Yeah, Jorch.  Tommy is messing with you again.  ;D

It's like they don't even care anymore. I heard the Christmas code is going to be "batteries."

They probably referred to him as "Captain Douchebag" behind his back.

Another code for paranormaldate.com this month could have been STUFFING.

Next month it may be NOG, short for eggnog, WREATH, what you do and need when you see the date you get.  You kill over.  Or, REGIFT, what you do when someone buys you a membership to paranormaldate.com as a gift.  That would also be a Dirty Santa present.  I like that code, DIRTY SANTA.

I've been Noory-free for over four months now.  I've gotten pleasantly used to not hearing those same old goofy mouth-sounds.  I was actually startled when one of his dorky promos ran on some weekend show I caught.

The Dirty Santa will cost you another $30 "tip"... but that does include a, complimentary, reach-around. ;)

Just Me

I wanted to write something so here it is.

Anyone remember the little shoe shine boy snoron always boasting how intuitive he is.

Then one day he was clueless when he was kidnapped down in Mexico. What happened to the intuitive ability predicting your kidnapping. Then that other time he fell in a puddle. Guess you didn't see that coming either.

That's Georgie's code name around the water cooler, so he doesn't know they're talking about him.  When he sneak-hears 'The Turk', he probably thinks it's a compliment.

Jorch n tommy give each other "dirty santas" all the time... they also play "plug the portal" and "beat the mean baby."

The Mexico story was just a time-killing lie. As far as falling into a puddle, blame Fatheiser; he `s the one who gave Jorch the chewing gum.

Don`t forget "Emptying Santa`s Sack" and Tommy`s particular favorite "Up the Chimney".

He was too distracted by thinking "sometheens gonna happeen!"  He never shut-up saying that on Monday night. Then he really nailed it down, saying "sometheen BAD is gonna happeen in the next five years!"  Thanks, Jorch.  I predict something good is going to happen in the next millisecond.

Haven't been here in awhile.  Does Noory still suck?

Way to go out on a limb,George! But at least the bufoon narrowed it down to five years-something remote phoney "Killshot" Dames avoids only to keep his scam going.

Surprisingly, no.

One night not too long ago he came on air and mentioned this thread.  Said he hadn't realized what a rut he'd fallen into, and promised change.  Since then, he's been working on the various ways he sucks that have been pointed out here, and has come along nicely - although like anything sometimes it's 3 steps forward and 2 steps back.  He's enrolled in English, science, and history courses at the local community college to get up to speed on the basics, and seems excited about it.  He burned his cue cards live on air, and now does show prep during the day and has actual conversations with the guests and callers during the show.

It's been amazeen to see unfold.  He's really taken the criticism to heart - when a lesser man would have just continued to alternate between ignoring it and lashing out - and if anything he's been over-apologizing.  The night he broke down and wept on air, begging forgiveness was very moving.  I wish Art Bell would accept his apologies and return his calls.

I'm glad he took Tommy back after firing him on air, the emails he got were overwhelmingly in favor of giving Tommy another chance as well.

I can always come to this thread for a laugh. A+++

The interesting thing is that all of these festive holiday traditions as mentioned in the above posts were done while Holiday Magic Coast Style played in the background.

I`m almost tempted to listen again but for the sound of his stupid voice.
