Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

Implant Man could mess up a lie detector machine so bad that the problems with it wouldn't come under the warranty.

... I love this redneck alien hunter scientist investigating implant man.

Man that last babbling caller with the satanic illuminati demons just made implant man sound more credible.

Dang, I was paying bills and missed him.

I hate it when I miss babble.

The guest needs to leave cattle mutilations alone, 'cause that's Linda Molding Howe's stockyard.

She'll be suing over any of his infringing mooing.

Any word on Thursday suprise TBA guest? usually TBA this close turn into a shit fest.

George, congratulations.

You just aired a show that made ME feel like an alien.

George just told everybody to "be safe," and then "boom," left us.

I don't know how to be safe with these wall-to-wall implantations and alien fetuses showing up in sonograms.  The world is not safe.

Could George have meant that ironically?

I don't think so, because he seems to be otherwise immune to irony.

It's George's way of saying "Forget about the last four hours.  I already have.  It was all bogus like every other guest we have and I get paid on Friday."

Last night I made an amazing discovery. If I time it right, at a certain point during the four hour conspirathon, if I switch channels I get Terry Gross. Gonna switch back and forth next time LMH is on -- kind of a radio collage. Yippeee!

Apparently, Snorge's superior  ::)  grammar and English language skills have infiltrated the CoastZone Newsletter email. Maybe he's writing it himself now? Nah, that would mean he would have actually had to pay attention to anything that was said.

From the recap of last night's show:
QuoteAnother implant, associated with the mass abduction of 8 people, was a tiny egg-shaped object believed to house a biological cameram, he recounted.

Holy Christ! 'Effective immediate', announces Walter Cronkite, the 30-day rule is lifted!!! The Idiot describes it as a 'very old, very antiquated rule'. He claims it's it's because sooooo many people are trying to call the show. Some people have been trying to get through for two years. Tell that to Bateman, you lying fuck!

Quote from: Georgie For President 2216 on December 09, 2014, 10:08:55 PM
George is eliminating the 30 day wait period for callers because the show is getting too big.  That takes 'spin' to a whole new level.

I've listened to talk radio for years, back when it was dominated by local shows and later when the syndicated shows took over. The 30 day caller rule came about due to show popularity and large listening audience which led to increased audience participation. Too many calls for the show to handle- limit callers' access to give others a chance.

George and Co. must have a really low opinion of their listeners. Lifting the rule because it is "old and antiquated"? Because of the overwhelming number of calls? How does this make any sense?

All this tells me is that they are having trouble managing the caller segment of the show. People began to notice repeat callers despite the 30 day rule. I suspect that more challenging callers are trying to get through, some of them are near and dear to BG. It could be a lack of callers. One way of addressing these problems would be to eliminate the rule while spinning bogus reasons for doing so. The other is to develop a rota of trusted callers that they can have on regularly to avoid any embarrassing calls that challenge the guest or host. For shame!

Did this dude just call out Sitchens???

I thought I heard that too, right as I was dozing off.  You could hear Georgie get bent out shape a bit - I think because it goes against his favorite story about himself and how Sitchens' books inspired him supposedly.

Jeez this could describe almost any Friday show.

"We have to let the same callers call in all the time because we just have too many callers."

That's like saying:

"I have to wear this awful wig because I have too much hair."

"Stopped the rule
'But I'm a fool

"Broke on through to another lie
Broke on through to another lie, yeh."

Or, more properly, I must wear this "signature" mustache because I have too much hair on my hair-piece.

ps: now that TPB is down I have been forcibly cut-off from the C2C suckage. Going cold turkey is tough. Shows how diabolical addiction is. Even when the substance lost its "high", post-Art, the need is still there for it.

Despite what George says, I think it suggests that they are not getting enough callers, or rather enough of the type they prefer.

I think I may know where George got the business of giving callers instant nicknames.  I was listening to Dennis Miller yesterday and he called a caller named Mike "Mikey" and a Roxanne "Roxy". Of course he also has been known to call female callers and guests "doll.' (he even called the widow of Daniel Faulkner--you know the policeman most likely killed by Mumia Abu Jamal--"doll")  It would give me the creeps if Noory tried that.  Standup comedians have more latitude.

I would believe that he watches the more popular on air talent for ideas to imitate. I'm not sure he understands that they have the personality to pull off these affectations. It doesn't work for everyone. I wonder if he practices and if anyone would tell him the truth.

He's just doing what all sociopaths do..observe and imitate..no emotions..hurt animals and those vulnerable if they can get away with it and so on..

We've got the pyramids of Egypt, tonight, folks!

With our favorite Pharoah, George Noory.

King Nut-n-but-lame-man.

coaster

Robert Bauval on tonight.  I would tune in as I find Bauval and the subject matter interesting, but Noory will end up shitting all over it.

Only George and C2C could make the amazing achievements of the ancient Egyptians sound ridiculous.  ::)
