I really believe that this place can provide serious input about what C2C has been, is, and could be - not just the foibles of George Noory.  This might be blasphemy, but he can change (or be told to change) his style and approach to the show.  As it stands now, I have seen very little change since he took over.  Oddly, he used to be better when he was the Night Hawk in St. Louis.  I used to listen to C2C and "The Night Hawk" regularly.  I'm not sure what happened to his entertainment shtick.  Sorry, just babbling.

a_g_n, I agree with you.  I haven't listened to George in ages and ages, and I won't listen to Ian tonight.  The subject tonight is not worth the time.  George isn't going to change, he isn't going to be fired or let go, Art isn't going to come back, and even if he did, he will have changed, and everyone will still be mad.

I think it was an act of desperation.  As of last Saturday he didn't have a guest - this guy become a guest the first time after being an amusing caller.

Hello to all my old friends and some new ones I see. I am not a POW as may have been purported or thought, I have been here since I left that hell hole in Dec 08 I think. Saw the way it was going and the actions of the crew (present company excluded) over there and how they have a pack mentality.

EvB is a good person and a mod but not really a mod as you may think or been used to. I can attest that she is a fair person and willing to discuss a lot of things and will help a person if they need it and ask. We have our differences but she has always treated me respectfully even with our differences she is a stand up person. Give her time to get to know some of you and learn how you post and who you are she really is a fair mod if she has to put that hat on. that said I will be in and out in the near future as I have some serious things that I am attending at the moment but I know all you will carry on George bashing and Ian bashing too (one of our differences  ). Glad to see you all and I think you all will like it here.

Thanks for the support Fry's Girl - but in fact I didn't even go that far.  I asked Gumby to explain why he chose that word - (becuase I was honestly interested in what he had to say) and then cautioned against replying to me in a way that could be used against us (defamation, libel - whatever)

Noory does fit the definition of a sociopath to me, based on what I've read in other forums about his letters threatening to shut them down for various reasons.

You just like to be stubborn and negative. Why? Gumby was not treated badly. He's actually right about what he said and EvB just wanted him to EXPAND ON WHAT HE SAID. She was actually encouraging him, but asking him to be careful about saying something like "he ate a baby".
