Hi, Prof'. How are youuuu? It indeed seems like the glitches and gremlins come out in full force when George Knapp hosts the show.

Wo!
Didn't see this post. Still getting used to it here.
Welcome SN! I knew if I concentrated hard enough you would appear!

Don't worry, when The Man comes down on us, the whole refugee camp will have to move on together...it is our fate to be forced to roam the internet, from one temporary home to the next, proclaiming  that "Noory Sucks!"---but only with the greatest humor, as only the jester dares to speak the truth...

This is so true. I have a tear in my eye.

Thanks V for your post.

My diatribe aside, all that matters is that both Smoky and Gumby are back - which is the most important component.

Short note: As i'm typing this, I've made so many spelling/grammatical errors - which I could blame them on my freakin' bifocals, (or non-use of) or my wireless keyboard/mouse combination (my personal favorite excuse), though I might be trying to type at faster than the the speed of light (~299,792.458 km/s), even though using only 3 fingers (I have more phalanges than that, but don't use them for typing).

In any event, I do know how to spell and use grammer but sometimes other things get in the way, including my diphenhydramine HCl susbstitute: Milwaukee's Best Ice, and an occasional zolpidem.

I'm, by no means, a  beer connoisseur, but have found that, through trial and error (and some Google research), when combatting insomnia, Milwaukees Best Ice (because of the "ICE" nature of its brewing), allows for a higher alcohol content (5.9%), can compete very well with other adult beverages. Steel Reserve 211 also has a favorable price:alcohol rating (8.1% alcohol by volume). What I take into consideration is not taste (as it generally does touch my tastebuds for very long), but rather, the state where I live does not charge a deposit fee. So when I go home to visit my parents, which DOES have a deposit law, I merely gather up a couple of garbage bags full of clean empties, and it pays for my gas and a bit more usually.

Think I'm a nerd? Yeah, I guess so. I've actually carried in a scientific calculator into a store, and measured the alcohol% by volume:price ratio, and came out with some surprising results (taking into account the rebate I get from the deposits on the can).

Nonetheless... tonight, I'm blaming ALL typing/grammatical/spelling errors on: my wireless keyboard. With that, I'll be standing by for a little while anyways...

Hey Sybil, Why not start your own site? One that isn't run by a angry insecure pansy. You would be a great leader. We do need a home...even the ones left on GLP need a new home.

Thanks, Gumby. Let's just hope that we don't generate too much synchronicity while we post.

I'm glad that you returned to the fold. It was touch and go there for a while.

Thanks!

And Milwaukee's best?  Animal Beer? Ha!  Cool...I used to drink that  stuff till the animals fell off the cans!

Thanks. I still haven't gone back and read everything but I understand that my new friend Smoky got SHAFTED for sticking up for what he thought was right about the situation.  THAT AINT RIGHT and should be corrected in all FAIRNESS. I would implore the kind host to PLEASE reconsider reversing the punishment inflicted  on Smoky and set things mo right. Shit. WTF already.

So it's still touch and go.

Synchronicity is cool. I'm STILL floored by some of it and haven't even tried to figure it out yet.

Hi, Sybil. Are we quarantined to this thread?
Boss Hogg will be glad we can check you off the list.

And BTW, here's that cool AV I made you ages ago that you couldn't use on GLP unless you paid. You can use it here for free. I'm really glad you're here. I better bust out some cocktails.

Boss Hogg

Wow Professor and now Super have successfully escaped the confines of GLP!

Gumby it's great to see you back on board too... maybe worth sticking around here for a while after all.  And Smoky let me just say you're one cool cat.

Now for those of you looking for a non-alcoholic alternative to V's Milwaukees Best Ice and Sybil's various cocktails, may I offer the following:

George Noory's Ice Water Recipe
1. Fill Glass With Water
2. Add Ice

Wow, it sounds like Knapp has opened the
"People Who Have Made Their Own Personal Theories of Physics"
line tonight....

Can all these complicated instructions fit on just one 3x5 index card?

5.

Gumby, you are violating the rules already---they said no obscene posts. That picture violates obscenity laws in 49 states...it may be acceptable in Arkansas, since they raise hogs there...

The Professor

I feel we are really missing something though...where are IT and Puke?

(joke!!!!)

Hopefully they'll be able figure out how to create their very own "Tard Talk" thread over at GLP.
