I haven't read a bunch of pages...my experiences with Smoky have been ok.

I will say this...or at least try and put it into words cuz it's weird...and it's from a lot of experience over in the jungles of GLP OGNST thread...

But it's like there seems to be some kind of odd...I don't know...short-tempered madness associated with Noronic Suck Matters. Like there's some kind of curse to make people who are on thi same path and would otherwise be friendly fight amongst themselves. Tempers flare at the drop of a hat. And that's what the Dark Side wants. It's easy to fall prey to feeling the victim one moment as one lashes out the next at a fellow poster.
I mean we're all pretty much here for one good purpose. There are really no trolls to speak of that I've come across yet (a credit to your excellent forum skills MV for sure).
It's important to think shit through and recognize that certain dark forces may be lurking that can be easily neutralized at the first-thought level before shit can even get out hand. The mindless decision to become either the oppressor or the oppressed occurs in a millisecond but doesn't need to ever become manifest.
The kind of space we're in  requires diligence  in fending off ludicrous urges that  can whack any of us at any moment. Someone who may be taken as being an asshole may not have meant it that way...we all know that's the nature of the computerized communications like threads and emails...shit especially emails...who here hasn't fucked up a perfectly fine relationship because of one stupid ill-conceived email before?

Anyway I think I thought what I just said makes sense but WTF...could be wrong. But it's always best to look ahead on the thread and not tread on the re-read. Otherwise we all might as well be dead. Fred.

I'm still banned over at GLP...not that I care per se, but I was going to post my touching peace song over there, so a did a test post, that went through, so I posted the song and got hit with the "banned" page---not really sure how that works, would seem to imply they have some dynamic IP blocker...not sure what the point would be, though...

...anyway, I find the whole GLP mod reaction to the thread to be hugely overblown...

normally you only get banned if you type one of the GLP double-double-top-secret forbidden words...sometimes they do ban certain servers which may ban you as collateral damage...

but, in the OGNST incident, it looks as if they decided to ban many of the frequent posters, perhaps especially those that are not paying members,
