Damn, that just made me lonely for him!  :(

Crap I'm sorry.

I agree they suck.  Just thought it strange that after my IP was banned I no longer get that message.  I just don't get the weirdness that goes on over there.

Oh well, I tend to dwell on those kind of unanswerables.

Arrrg...I didn't catch that...But I'll bet he said "HE'S A GREAT GUY, A GREAT GUY" too though aye?

Or perhaps...  'He's one of the best, maybe we can get him on the show... Tommy?'

HAL 9000

Quote from: Boss HoggOnly computer problem here, has been at Coast to Coast AM.com There's a picture of George Noory appearing to have a bowel movement on the front page, and I can't seem to get rid of it.  Best solution I've found so far is to use Links (Text Only Web Browser) and the problem is solved!  Or even better, not go to there at all!

Mind you, I'm extremely biased when it comes to browser use, but this is based on extensive experience: all users should be using Opera. It has many, many built-in, very handy functions, and is not vulnerable to many things other browsers are. Lots of great "right-click" functions.

One "RC" function I use is "block content" - in which I can block any link on any site - so, for example, I don't ever see Google ads on any site I visit, or, in the case of the screenshot below, I have blocked Snoron's picture and all advertisements from the c2c website.

I really don't want this response to start a "browser wars" discussion, but many tout Firefox because of its flexibility, and can block individual site content as well... BUT - Firefox uses add-ons/plugins to achieve these features, and FF is NOTORIOUS for, when an upgrade comes out, many of these add-ons don't work any longer, and need to be updated by their authors to work with the new version.

Opera simply works out of the box, very straightforward, tons of built-in features, can easily change "skins" for visual appeal - it's simply the best (and touted to be) and fastest browser on the planet. Just my 2?. (I love using ANSI codes - esp. 0162  :o )

You can download Opera for Mac here:

Another good reason to have MAC. An OS based on BSD.

We're not vulnerable like Windows.

With due respect Syb (and you know I do!), it's not because the Mac OS kernel isn't susceptible to vulnerabilities... it certainly is. It's just that, nobody gives a shit about Mac and its 7% share of the market, so almost no one bothers to write viruses or other malicious code. Again, not trying to stir the "operating system/browser/whatever" pot, but just the facts. So while it is true Macs are not as vulnerable per se, it's only because no one cares.

So as an XP user, my prophylaxis simply consists of AV software, a firewall, and I do a spyware/malware scan about once a month, and am always clean - and I visit LOTS of "nefarious" sites. Oh, and did I mention, Snoory sucks?

It's time for a little dinner

No offense taken at all, V.

Who cares what the reason is really? The fact is we rarely get them. Buy a MAC and be virus free!

That's another good reason not to sleep with Windows users.

Secret Doors  tonight.  I'll make a prediction:
Richard Hoagland  will talk down to GN like no one else can.
Some English Guy  will recite "The Night before Christmas."
Maj. Ed Dames  will explain to us again why he can't find anything.
Alex Jones  will convince GN to invest in survival seeds, or aluminum foil, or something.
The Bigfoot Hunters  will announce that they have captured Godzilla.  GN will believe it.
Peter Lance  will sound damn convincing about whatever he's talking about.  Gn will not be able to keep up.
Richard Hoagland  will call again.  Drunk.  Incoherent.  Something  about "revenge".

Once again V you've nailed it. I have Opera but haven't used it yet...so...

And Thanks again for the Mojo Nixon Album...Awesome find indeed. And just wondering...did you ever happen upon Mojo's "Tie My Pecker To My Leg?" I don't know the name of the album..it's one of his regular tunes though, which means it's on several...might even go back  the Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper days...

Except, of course, you're excluding 95% of the population by not doing so.

And, not wanting to shake the "political pot" either, while I wouldn't EXCLUDE sleeping with a Mac user, my guess would be, 95% of Mac users are Starbucks/Obama drones, and thoughts of sleeping with an Obama drone gives me the "willies." Long live Mark Levin!

Thanks ayand, no doubt the reason George went with the name "Behind the Door"

He was really thinking of the Door to Tommy's Behind...

George: Stick with me and I'll stick it to yooo!

To be honest, I've never heard of that dude before - seems like a pretty eclectic group that would know him - but I did do an exhaustive search of my usual places to obtain stuff, and I did check the track lists of the 3 albums I downloaded, and that song wasn't on any of them. Doesn't mean it's not available somewhere, but just not at my usual sites/methods. The one thing I didn't do, was try the obvious, using advanced search criteria, and that's Google. Often, it's using the correct keywords, to find some obscure site directory/folder, where someone has just what you're looking for, stored. I think I'll try that now for fun.

See! This is what always happens with MAC vs PC discussions. PC ends up with nothing productive to say so has to insult MAC. :/

If only 5% (your figure) of the population (MAC Users) voted for Obama, how come he's president? I didn't vote for him and I hate Starbucks. And being picky who I pleasure is a good thing! :)

And BTW, Mark Levin is a god damn ass wipe like all those other media whores.

Having said that, I hate talking politics and arguing computers, so a post like this from me is very rare. I do however love picking on George and Tommy with you V!
