Just lining up our deal when we #CalExit. Seriously. She's a Senator. It is her job to talk to foreign representatives. Private citizens making deals of what government policy will be with foreign countries is illegal

Sessions was a Senator until February.

Really, Doc?  :-\  I guess I was wrong about you then (sigh).  :-[

My direct question to you would be, "What countries have you visited and what, specifically,  have you learned from your travels?"  "How has this enlightened you and improved your life?"

Far be it for me to interject in your geography enquiries, but for myself:

France....(Specifically Brittany)..Quiet, don't like calvados. People alright. Preferable to speak French, few speak English.

Holland...Only drove through it, to...

Southern Germany...Beautiful countryside. Incredibly clean. High standard of living (this was in 1991), no idea what its like now, but they did seem to resent the East Germans coming in and expecting the same as they had. Many speak English and want you to so they can improve theirs. Very friendly and welcoming. Food not so good.

Italy...(Milan and environs).. Busy, driving crazy. Lake Garda and Como beautiful, but infested with rich and boorish playboys in Porsche's and Lambos who are arrogant twats. The none playboys are lovely people, very hospitable. Food is plentiful, best pizza in the world. Probably.

Dubia...Went in 2000 and is now a million times more developed. Lots of sand, if you're in the glass or concrete and aircon industries, you won't be out of work there. Staff in hotels are either Thai or from Sri Lanka. Dubia arabs do not work! Food impeccable. Very very hot in the daytime, silly to go out of shade, it won't end well.

Maldives....Sounds a bit ungrateful, but it was boring for me. On an island 150 yards by 350 yards, highest point about a metre above sea level. I can't scuba dive so couldn't go out on the diving boat each day. Sand isn't sand, its excreted coral and although looks soft, isn't..not even a bit! Staff were from Sri Lanka and very friendly and informative about the sea and islands.

Kenya... (been three times) ..Lovely friendly people. Deserve much better than they get from the corrupt government. Indian ocean at Mombasa is a delight to go snorkeling in. Beautiful sea life. Best Indian restaurant I've ever been in was in the hotel (all hotels owned by Indians). Safari in Tsavo national park would have been better if the dry season hadn't had torrential rain in the last two months. Even elephants were hidden in the undergrowth. Bugs as big as your hand were off putting. Lions really are as frightening as you imagine they might be. Beautiful, but scary animals.

Georgia USA... North of Atlanta near Athens. Wide open spaces, very friendly people but too much baptist stuff for my liking. Surprised at seeing $25000 of 4X4 outside a dilapidated shack. Atlanta airport is amazing (as airports go) The railway was rare back then.

Californa USA... Don't like SFO much. Too busy for my liking, lots of hills, drove down Lombard Street, but I like the Cliff House hotel for sunday brunch (they cook Yorkshire puddings!) Yosemite is (using the word as defined) awesome. Simply breathtakingly beautiful.
Standard of driving, particularly on the freeways is diabolical. I'm not surprised at the death and injury statistics. Sacramento is like any largeish city. It has its good and bad parts. The tree lined roads and avenues are very pretty. The degree of homelessness is more than in the UK. People friendly, they call everyone sir and maam! Light rail is quick and efficient, and has 'all life' on it.

Thanks Starr, I only caught the end of it. It sounded to me like Sessions told Trump he would recuse himself, but not sure I heard enough to make that claim.

Glad to see you couldn't defend your circular logic and didn't try to.

I get it from your first post in this thread you have been consistent in squawking how much you hate Trump. I feel the same way about Clinton.

I am just glad that Clinton lost.

Circular logic? What do you mean? You didn't deny either that Trump can't be trusted in what he says.

Advance to time stamp 16:39.  That should be the beginning of AG Session's speech.

Glaring problem with A Coulter comment: Diane F didn't have private meet with Russian ambassador during a presidential campaign while acting as a surrogate for presidential candidate, and then lie about it under oath. Coulter should be embarrassed for publicizing her lack of critical thinking skills.

You said that the Russians hacked the servers to hold it over Clinton after she won, but somehow they wanted to influence the election so she wouldn't win. Maybe circular logic isn't the correct term, but it doesn't make sense. They either wanted her to win so they could blackmail her or they wanted her to lose so that she couldn't expand NATO. never quite figured out your logic.

The WikiLeaks emails were all released before the election.

I don't consider it my job to defend Trump when he says stupid shit.

I think Putin expected Clinton to win and therefore geared his strategy to that end. She would almost certainly have not sucked up to Putin like Trump does. She would more likely fire shots across Putin's bows if he even farted at Poland et al. Trump won't. Trump and his friends (and now cabinet appointees) have extensive Russian connections (Wilbur Ross is vice president of the Cyprus bank; Major owner is a Russian oligarch, a personal friend of Putin's). Tillerson is a personal friend of Putin, oil connection. Flynn was paid to attend a dinner with Putin, in celebration of RT, the Putin propaganda outlet (are you seeing a pattern here?).. Now Sessions has recused himself from an inquiry because he apparently didn't get why the Russian ambassador would want to chat to him before he was AG, when the Russian issue was on all the front pages! Seriously?   ;D

The only evidence I have seen with Russian influence has been regarding the Clintons. Including the uranium deal and Bill Clinton being paid more than normal for his speeches to the Russians.

Funny that you would continue to defend his actions in spite of government ethics experts stating something was indeed amiss. Besides, Sessions has now recused himself, so no need to keep up the charade.
