People are entitled to ask, if someone goes to such lengths to conceal the truth, whether there might not be something there to be hidden. You have multiple separate intelligence reports saying there's something squirrely going on and the people are worried that people at the highest levels of The Shite House might be compromised.

Even if they found that Trump had a chip behind his ear and Putin was whispering instructions to him 24/7 you'd all be happy with that (cf. 21stCM) as long as Hillary wasn't anywhere near the reins of power. It's like ancient Athens when the Oligarchy invited the Spartans in to put down the opposition (known as the Democrats, oddly enough). Putin wanted him to win, but probably didn't expect him to. Hence the hacking of the DMC and the revelations it had taken place and contents.
