As an ex submariner I'm genuinely dismayed you made no comment about Trump deflecting his order for the SEAL mission; the exploitation for P O Owen's widow and the ongoing 'pretend' to be a military man, with is nauseous saluting of a uniformed serviceman and then yesterday wearing that jacket and cap. He got out of the call up five times. Played contact sports and tennis and yet had spurs in his heels that stopped him military training. Sure...

I have commented on this several times.  The mission would have been carried out whether it was Trump or Hilliary who gave the go ahead. It had been planned for months and was timed to a moon phase. Trump did not distance himself from it he simply explained the circumstances.  The appearance of the wife of the fallen Seal was an appropriate honor.  Do you think that Hilliary or anyone else would have done it differently.  You do remember the honors that Obama lavished on the  parents of Beau Bergdahl, the deserter,  in a the Rose Garden reception.  This after trading 5 high ranking terrorists To the Taliban for Begdahls release.

People in the military and special operators in particular do dangerous things  every day.  They all are volunteers and accept the risk.  What the father of the Seal is doing is dishonoring the men who do the things that others can't or won't do.  The Senior Chief would not be proud of his father's behavior even allowing for his grief.

What dismays me is that people like you trivialize what these men do by impugning the motives and judgement of their leaders and accuse them of throwing lives away.  I find it particularly irksome that this sad event is subject of cheap banter by those seeking to disparage the President on this thread and elsewhere.  Are we clear on my position.  If we are I would prefer that you and the other flap jaws on this thread shut the fuck up about the matter because you do not know what you are talking about.

The bad guys hide among innocent civilians and use them as shields when they are attacked.  You do know that it is a common tactic don't you?   You just tend to forget things that are'nt congenial to your assertions.  Another common tactic.
