Not looking so good.

Rogers out for 10

I was in a pub one night in the late 90s and Ian Botham was there drunk as a skunk and bumming cigarettes off me all night kept saying he was trying to quit and could he have just one more. Top bloke for a filthy Pom. I ended up just buying him a pack. He was shouting me and my mates drinks.

Interesting story. Yes, he always seemed like he had more in common with the other lot than us. This picture came from Headingley '81 of course. I'm sure you remember how that one went. ;)

Your blokes doing well at the moment. Warner looks like a threat. Something to be said for jerking off other dudes - it leaves you with supple wrists.

I love Australian rules football! The umpires are awesome! I started watching this on ESPN back in the early 80's!

Do these athletes know David Byrne is filming a music video?

It's Saturday night, the kids and missus are asleep and I'm lying on the couch in my study watching with a cold beer and a bunch of grapes. I'm flipping between this and an Aussie Rules Footy match and shortly the Tour de France is on. There's a good chance I will wake up in the same position.

First time I have heard an Aussie refer to a 'study'. I think you need to be able to read first.

SredniVashtar

COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

Warner is ouutttttttttttttttttttt!!!

Oh, Moeen, the beard that's feared!!!!

jazmunda

I was in the middle of writing a post that I was worried about Moeen Ali coming up to bowl when he struck.

It's purely for BellGab and watching TV.

I recommend listening to the British radio commentary. They have McGrath and he is so hilariously biased. He was so upset when Warner got out.

I do that occasionally but tonight I've got the sound on the TV off as I'm catching up on some podcasts.

Lunch. Aus 97-2

That was a big wicket right at the end. I bet he's popular in the dressing room. That's the trouble with these big targets. All the one-day cricket means they are possible in theory but then you lose a couple of wickets and it all changes round. Moeen is not a front line bowler but he can get good players out if they don't give him respect. If we still had Swann then this would be all but over by now.

By the way, I saw the Tour when it was here last year. Well, sort of. I was waiting in the Mall for them to finish and realised i was standing in the wrong place like a dumbass, so I never really saw anything. Just heard a lot of commentary over the PA system in English and French.

I find watching the Tour to be very relaxing. It is on here from 10pm so I usually watch it and drift off to sleep at some point. The French countryside is very picturesque.

SredniVashtar

101-3

Smith out for 33!!

Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!

jazmunda

Almost ready to concede.

SredniVashtar

80 year old Voges totters to the crease, using the bat as a walking stick.

Broad's looking dangerous. He can go through spells when is useless and then he's all but unplayable. Wood's pretty quick too; saw him at Lord's a few weeks ago and I can see him nipping one of them out.

You've won the battle but not the war.

Please don't use my own word against me. It's just not cricket.

jazmunda

Now it's just a massacre.

jazmunda

Yorkshire Pud doesn't get to gloat if he couldn't be bother turning up.

Yes, you are quite hard on your team when they don't perform, although I don't know how much you can change. If Watson gets out cheaply he may be out, but I am not sure what else you have got in reserve. Watson doing okay right now, but what's the betting he will get out leg before again?
