Totally bizarro world - I rarely stop by here, but on a whim did so tonight, and read about "unbanning," so I perused a few threads and indeed it seems to be true. I then checked a junk email account I don't often use, and son-of-a-gun! - there were a few messages from members letting me know about the "un-purge." So here I am.

Nonetheless, I have a post in my mind which soon will make it to the keyboard - more public service announcement than anything else. Though death is a natural byproduct of what I do, and am therefore used to routinely dealing with its aftereffects, I have experienced preventable deaths very close to home, and learned more than I ever wanted to know about certain conditions. I doubt much that any of my words will persuade one to change their habits, but (warning: huge cliché coming) if they make a connection to just one or a few; well, that would be a success.
