I've been booted from other "social" activities a few times myself, so I'm just sitting around waiting for my banning and wondering why it hasn't happened yet.    :     Even though I work my ass off, I'd probably be 10x more productive in my life if I was banned.   Knowing this is a business though, maybe it's a good time to pony up some more dough to keep my ticket valid, or perhaps just go clicking randomly a few times, at least...

I'm glad the guy's gone. My beef with Jackstar wasn't so much the content of his posts, which I more often than not didn't understand, but the frequency, which approached Falkie levels at the end. I had him on Ignore and still had to scroll way too much through almost every thread.

It is a shame Jackstar had to go overboard crazy in the last week or so.  I definitely noticed an increase in the number of posts from him lately, and they tended to be a little more wild than normal.   I would hope that MV would have the heart to let him back on after a cooling down period, but as a business owner myself, I understand why he let him go.   It's just sad.  Although I thought some of his conspiracy stuff was out there, Jackstar is clearly an intelligent guy.  And to date, he's the only poster I know whose ex girlfriend came on here and showed us her tits.

I agree with all the posts saying essentially "he was super smart, but being a jerk." He gave me the odd chuckle every now and then, but then would always follow it up with an insult. He had to make every thread abrasive.

Letting him go (at least for now) makes sense. There's good-natured ribbing, and then there's abuse.

I didn't notice anything that I would consider a meltdown... or any damn near complete walls like what would happen in Falkie's time.

The way it appeared... he logged in to the live chat during yesterday's GabCast, making MV have to open up his toolbox and grab his hammer again.  That could be seen as a sign of serious disrespect for a decision that was just recently made. MV might have had a discussion with him in the past before the decision was made about his behavior stretching his limits... or MV figured that Jackstar was smart enough to realize he was doing that in the first place because that's just the way he likes to act in online forums.  He has been banned from other places in the past, so it isn't like this is the first time it's ever happened...

Might want to include a new member list addition, how to reach some one after they are "Jacked-Off."  Don't send gifts, turmeric, love letters to ex's, just instructions how to set up a Falkie forum.  In a few months, I see the dawn of a new age.  Falkie's forum takes root and becomes the rage of the internet.  The wit and spirit from Coastgab, once booted, are reincarnated. 

In the real world the intercourse and interplay of personalities is what makes for interesting commentary and conversation.  When that is stripped it becomes bland and homogenous, sometimes bordering on comatose.  MV may do as MV wishes, but  I see a trend here, when Jackstar was banned.

If there was a trend going on... I think when someone had a meltdown about a month or two ago they would have been gone.  Just seen them yesterday.

At times, I got along with Jackstar.  But another thing I'll say about him... he liked to take personal shots at people, just to get a fucking reaction out of them.  It's how he gets his shits and giggles.  But when he fucks up and the opportunity arises where he could find out what personal shots really are... he didn't care for that one fucking bit.
