there is a valuable life lesson to be learned about this whole Midnight in the  Desert and Art Bell experience

Art Bell is supposedly worth 10 million dollars yet he did not spend promotion money to take care of his show's return.  Why, you ask?

Other people were willing to love his baby more than he did. So while he was down at the corner turning tricks, somebody else was watching his baby. If Art Bell ever decides to do a program again, he will just seek out a group of people who will enable him. With his fame, I am sure there will be many coattail riding wannabes who will gladly jump on the SS Titanic for a three hour tour.

The moral of the story? Maybe it is that no one should ever love a baby more than its own parent.

I have lost a lot respect for Bateman. He took advantage of the situation. Heather had her hands tied with the network and the show, and couldn't say much while Bateman went straight for mud-slinging.
I find he retains information to use for future mud-slinging. For someone who says he doesn't like drama, it doesn't bode well when you are a repetitive mud-slinger. He seemed to be in a peculiar situation (getting calls from Heather when she might have been airing out grievances and stress from the show). It comes out as unhealthy disdain.

Okay, when the time is right. I'm not sure we've reached critical mass yet, like we did recently on the loyalty thing (a missed opportunity which will come again). We need a few more relevant posts. I predict that we'll get them because Heather will not go quietly into the desert.

Also, that voice of hers (like that sickly sweet cloud thing from Star Trek which descends on standers-by) will somehow manage to seduce some more people, at least temporarily. A healthy dose of Klingon nerve gas would fix them right up.
