What's amazing to me is that Heather never asked for any of this.  Art asked her to produce, she did a great job. She's obviously a huge fan of Art's and understands the show and Art recognized that.   Art asked her to take over, and I think she's doing a great job, especially considering that she really has no previous broadcast experience except for a few podcasts.  But it's apparent to me in light of recent events and upon listening to the last gabcast that there were a lot of people that she counted as friends who turned out to be pretty damn unfriendly.  It's really a mess.  And it's a mess that Heather didn't ask for, she's just doing what was asked of her.  I'm astounded at people's willingness to jump her shit and say that she's awful and to make unsavory allegations.  Fuck all of this

Someone on the show said something about 'the world needing Art's voice'.  Good grief, what happened to this 'just being a radio show'.  I certainly have no desire to hears 'Art's voice' anymore. 

By the way, why were Curtis and the co-hosts repeatedly interrupting Heather and Bateman - they did make a few relevent interjections but they mostly derailed the conversation.  I don't think anyone was thinking 'this is a good conversation between (Redacted) and Bateman, but I'd sure like to hear a pointless interruption from one of the co-hosts right now'.

I would doubt very much she was told to find her own replacement.  The reason she was pissed off is that she was the last one to find out that they were looking to replace her.

If they can't see that then they shouldn't be hosting. Also they both pretty much suck. One of them should check out their breathing problems. Themudking was a great moderator and I agree that Showroom Dummy should have his own show. Great voice.

It's really easy to be a cohost. Just volunteer in the GabCast thread when they announce the next show. Give it a shot. All you need is a good internet connection, skype and preferably a headset microphone.
