Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

That actually sounds like something I'd say.
Well, we've all been there and forgot a word but I just really enjoyed it last night with his bizarre explanation instead of "candidates," which was the forgotten word. And the guest's reply, "Ah, what do you mean?" C2C is comedy. Only reason I still listen, at least sometimes.

"what's yer take of the so-called Presidential ambition-type folks?" is now the line I'm using in any conversation regarding the Presidential candidates. In Norry's honor.
Wouldn't it be hilarious to have Simple Snoory moderate a Presidential candidate debate?
"So Mr. Trump, whut got you into the whole money thing?"

"Dr. Carson, so have you like stuck yur hands into people's heads?  Isn't it kinda icky?  Whut about the brains of little kids?"

"Senator Rubio, would you like maybe row a boat to Cuber to meet Fidel?  Whut if yewww could go through a portal to Cuber?"

Izintit?

To Carly Fiorina: "So what`s next for you?"
To Jeb Bush: "How will you spend the next 100 days before the election?"
To Donald Trump: "Can me and my good friend Billy Mumy be on Celebrity Apprentice?"
To Chris Christie: "Have you ever burned the flappy thing in the back of your throat on a microwave pizza roll?"

Looks like Noory has added a last minute first half guest for tonight to replace Salma Hayek who bailed out:
Its Stephen Bassett who was scheduled with Art a couple weeks ago but got dropped due to Skype problems.
Noory appears to be poaching Art's leftovers...

Comedy (unintentional, albeit) is the ONLY reason I listen to Coast. What else is there? The rare interesting guest is ruined by a host with a bedpan where his brainpan should be. Long ago I learned that Noory was only good for snickering at his syntax and/or guffawing at his gaffes. That being said, I think I`ll take some time off. Good luck everyone!  GNS ad infinitum

I think that Selma will be rescheduled for an in-studio interview with Norry.

If that is the case I will have to give George props.

Noory has Salma Hayek on the phone after all but just for a few minutes, instead of as a first hour guest.
She is just promoting her new movie.

Dateline

This is  not about Coast, it is a Selma Hyak informercial telephone call.  Infomercial on your time, not on my time.

Norry, the King of Late-Night Infomercials.  He wears the crown well.  Hail Hail!

Heard about ten minutes of Dave sucks Selma Hayak's balls. But Peter Davenport has a regular segment on Coast now?

Yep Davenport has been on with Noory for a short segment once a week for quite a long time now.
Usually on Friday nights, but if Noory takes off Friday he puts him on Thursday night instead.
Noory is taking off more Fridays lately - 4 straight weeks already and again tomorrow and next week according to the schedule.
Maybe he is reducing to 4days/week and avoid open lines, since Art returned...

'Ole Bill from West Hartford the AAA is still calling in to Noory - he called in with questions for Bassett tonight.
Odd he hasn't called in to Hoagland's new show, maybe Bill only has an AM radio?

Someone needs to tweet him.

Hey Tommy. You fat retarded douche. The only thing Art "got" from Long John Dribble was "herpes", except he didn't. Even THAT was a rumor started by your master George Snooron.
Yuk Yuk Yuk. Ya frat boy dick wad.

Dateline

This thing that Norry "gets it" was never adequately explained.  Let's see, he can get fungus feet, jock itch, pimples, bad breath, nose hair.  Maybe it is all of the above.

ziznak

When Art said Noory "gets it" he meant that Snore's could somewhat read 3x5 cards... and occasionally can be mistaken for "broadcasting."  It's a quote from Art right after the Noory came back from his clockwork orange style 3x5 card reading training camp....

yup thats right

I used to listen to Long John.  He was often very critical, abusive really, to his guests.  Art does a splendid job staying neutral or playing along unless the guest is obvious.

Norry seems to stress his time behind the mike and how he is so predictable in contrast to Art who is a serial quitter.  I find it somewhat ironic that since Art has started "Midnight In The Desert", he has not taken a day off and in actually been behind the mike more days than Norry.  Norry has been working part-time behind the mike during the days since July 20, 2015, taking off for other projects every week.  I don't think he has worked any Fridays, and if he has it has not been more than one or two.

Yeah, Art actually worked six days the first week because of the test show. He seems to be more into this show than Dark Matter, maybe because there's no big company involvement.

On a side note, listened to Art's last full time C2C show in 2002 and he said George was bringing the show back to 5 hours and congratulated him. Then in May when Art was back as a 'guest host' he said George gets a break from doing a four hour show each night  ???. What happened? Did George immediately wimp out? You can also hear Art on 03 Ghost to Ghost saying he might do a five hour show that night.

The Strange Case Of The Disappearing George continues. Good Dave fills in for him this Friday. Is the the third or fourth week in a row he's gone missing. He's offered the vague 'on assignment' and the filming of a pilot for a new TV show he couldn't talk about as excuses in the last few weeks. Very odd.

When you build a Hawaiian broadcast studio, it should be LEGENDAERY (LEGENDAIRY?  eye fergut...)

I think he's done this every year, at least the past several.  My guess is he and the other employees are required to use their vacation time because the PremRat Corporation doesn't want to carry Accrued Vacation on the books as a Liability, and they don't want to pay it out in cash and have it show on the books as an Expense.  At least that's my understanding of why some of these publicly traded companies insist employees use their vacation days instead of accumulating too many - if they don't it screws up their financial statements.

But George is afraid to leave for too long in case his fill-in does well - he knows he sucks - and he doesn't really have any interests or things to do outside work anyway.  So he takes it one Friday at a time.
