Since Art has reclaimed "The Chase", Norry is going all out to make Coast his own, and will be debuting a new intro.  It is going to be "Strangers In The Night" by Sinatra, truly a classic and  consistent with the Snore affect.

I always did wonder if the "pizza roll" story was a cover for something more sinister.

Some folks worry about gerbils, maybe they worry about PremRats

old snoores will drop bombshell questions that ol fidel would be unprepared for.for example:

hash there been any chupacabra sightings in cuba?
what if you had a computer in 1959?
what do you think of current affairs? is sometheen happeneen ?

George will also want to know if Cuba has a dead baby problem.

Maybe Paper*Boy inspired Noory to draw?  ;)

Nonetheless..$149.99 is a joke!!!!
I can get a rookie year autographed Cal Ripken card for $125.  Can also get some later (80's/90's) Frank Sinatra autographs for less than Noory's scribble.
Which of these things is more valuable?
Noory thinks he is special.  That's for sure.

Wow, that's, um...

Well it's crap, really, isn't it?

...and in just two simple, yet eloquent lines you have summed up the entirety of Dave's career on Coast to Coast AM.

You sir are a Master Poet!

It`s what happens when you have a very low opinion of the intelligence of your audience. GNS

ACE of CLUBS

Good bye George .....
I'd like to say "it's been fun" ....... but, it hasn't been fun listening to you.
Art left you a big black Cadillac .... the perfect vehicle for those long dark Nevada highways of the mind ..... we were all passengers when Art wheeled up, twinkle in his eye, and asked ... "Wanna' take a ride ? .... "
We travelled everywhere.

You, Lisa, Tom, and others couldn't figure out how run that big beautiful night-time cruiser.
The doors have fallen off, and millions of passengers have walked away from that once fast black Cadillac. Your dis-interest, neglect, and self absorption ruined the gift that Art gave you.

There's a Lincoln waiting for us now ....... Hey! Who's behind the wheel ?
Twinkle in the eye ....... you know what he's gonna' ask ...........

George, I hope you sing "I did it my way" tonight as your swan song.

Ask not for whom the Bell tolls.
It tolls for thee......

Hmmm. Curious. Jorch hasn't been on Bellgab since the 16th.  My guess is he will show up during Art's first hour.  Maybe firing spitballs.

I wondered about that. I was sure he'd be lurking last night, or first thing this morning. Let's maintain a Gnoory watch....

JDFP

Just listened to the episode last month where George called into GabCast with MV and (Redacted) and the other drunk people there and I have to give him props for that. Going to have to listen to more GabCast as I dig the jive I heard there. Now before throwing pizza rolls at me, I just wanted to throw out a few things. I'm a long time lurker here and may become a bit more active as long as my Budweiser supply doesn't diminish while posting here from time to time as the board has picked up some.

I've gone back over the last 3-4 years and listened to ALOT of classic Bell (my favorite episode is with Patsy/Harlot the Witch who was crazier, and probably nicer, than my ex-fiancee) and I've started to really dig the guy much more than I did before just listening to mostly Noory. I think the first time I really got into C2C was back in hearing the interview Noory did with Benjamin Creme (I guess that was around 2002 or so?). As far as Art, he's a great conversationalist and interviewer and I'm really looking forward to more of his shows on MITD. Hopefully he won't quit again after a few weeks.

With that said, I don't think much could touch the almost Tom Selleck epicness of Dave's moustache. That's just a thing of beauty, man. And Dave sure does get a tremendous amount of pain here - some of it very deserving (his poor preparation for interviews at times, his Nooryisms - "Could it be a portal?" / "I don't believe in coincidences!", and his "Golly gee!" persona of an overall nice guy that borders on fakeness at times) but I really have to give the guy major props for calling into a program where he knew he was going to get nothing but grief. And while I shake my head and sigh at some of his comments he makes ("Jesus, George, a typhoon thousands of miles away isn't going to affect the weather in Hawaii!" / "An angel isn't a spaceship, George!") I still regularly listen to Coast as I find Noory interesting at times and I honestly think he does a great job with callers in seeming to genuinely care and want to give people a voice on the show. Meh. I like the way George is open and friendly with callers as Art, and bless him as he's great, can come across a bit acerbic at times with callers.

Anyway, just throwing in that two cents about how he called into GabCast. Hopefully I don't get slaughtered too bad and no one tries to hold me down and force Carnivora down my throat for it. Meh, as far as me, I'll continue to listen to both shows to be amused in different ways by both characters with both Art and Dave.

I still don't have internet radio so at least if I have to listen to c2c for a bit longer at least the guests this week have potential.

the SW stream worked great last night. Try that. Or use the call in on listening number if you have a landline or cell phone with unlimited calling.

I am sending NOory a box of tissues and some Prep H for the butt hurt that must be swelling.  Hang on Tommy, I'll expedite that for you.
