In mental preparation, I have gone completely Noory free. This has been for two weeks now. Clean..
No clips.
Not even photos, really..
I have checked the Coast page, but I have attempted to avoid the image on the top left..

I have quit alcohol a few times. I know alcohol is a poison. As is Noory. But the difference is, alcohol tastes amazing and makes my head do fun things.

I wasn't really addicted to Nores..
But without him, I am thinking better.
I have been able to construct complete sentences. I have stopped saying 'so get ready for that.'  I have also been to abolish the phrase "jeez" from my vocabulary.
I am ready for Art.
Mentally clear. Clean.

I have even avoided the George Noory sucks page.
but this page, like alcohol, tastes amazing.
Maybe tonight I will grab a six pack.

I hate to admit it but Norry seems to be doing a, somewhat, better job recently. The Art news must have shaken him to his core and/or Tommy is cutting his booze with more water. The guest on "future crime" was pretty good. I think because he talked a lot and Norry didn't ask many questions. (Though he was his usual inane self when asking about the Silk Road "what did they do, er what did they get them for drugs?" after the guest clearly just mentioned the operation and the crimes involved (guns, child porn, drugs, hitmen, and taking a "cut" of all transactions.)

Not sure how concerned he is or should be? He signed a new contract recently. He won't lose his job due to anything Art is trying do/does. I wish that was the case. Unfortunately, it's not. I want Art to come back with a vengeance! Until he's broadcasting live: FUCK YOU noory!

Yeah, with that new fat contract and new studios and LA (and maybe Hawaii) bases so he can pretend to hob-nob with the glitterati Hollywood stars, in his mind I don't think he is scared of Art. But there still might be some, however small, bit of him that is scared that really wants to be a good host and Art, even if just on the internet, will really show-up Norry for the "radio talent" he is.

I don't think George is "dumb" intelligence wise. He wouldn't have this job all these years later. He knows how to play the corporate game. He might not be a genius, but he is slick enough to maintain the network's confidence. I don't understand it. I hate it!

My opinion, he doesn't CARE about the genre. It's just a paycheck. Show up, clock in, broadcast, clock out. < rinse & repeat. I don't believe for a second he spends 8 HOURS of show prep. I know he said that at some point. I know it was a high number of hours. *sigh*

albrecht, I believe George fancy's himself a t.v.'star'. Hollywood/LA like you said, schmoozing the real stars...*shiver* He is still doing the low budget t.v. show online. I think he would drop C2C faster than he says "portal" for a full time network t.v. gig.

Noory probably has a 'complex', due to the fact Art handed him an already successful show. Plus, Art is still the popular face of C2C. At least with original listeners. That would be awesome if Art's return (fingers crossed) cost Noory his job. We'll see.
