George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

So the View featured a lady with the world's largest/heaviest dreadlocks. Tomorrow Noory is the guest, so I guess its weirdos week over there. At least the dreadlock lady worked at something.

Oh great, Bill the AAA again, I sure hope this fool can't find Sirius

I had to look up this woman with the locks. Wow, she could be paralyzed from the weight of her hair??? And the doctors said they think it is causing her spine to curve.

Erosion of values is never a one step approach. Where we draw the line (all of us) is more important that many ever consider.

My original point was nothing more than suggesting there are more reasons for not listening to a subscription service than lack of intelligence or creativity. simply put, to suggest it is stupid to not break a law is a wtf moment. Even is the slightest example.
I will start with the last point first.  That is more than fair enough and in most ways I agree with you.  There are people who will refuse simply because it is against the law (I am less impressed with those who do not do it because it is against the law than those who would not because it is against a personal code.)  The laws that are not universal (don't murder, rape, steal, assault etc) seem to be our societies way of trying to force morals on people.  If the majority were the ones who wrote the laws I might agree- but in many cases it is the lobbyists and a politicians idea of what is right that prevails.  That really is why I am more impressed by somebody who follows their own code than those who are just following the law.

I was reading a different thread about the morals of streaming Art and I was surprised by how many people found it would be against their morals but I recall almost no discussion of how downloading Coast might be hurting Pemrat and found it very inconsistent.  To be fair, you are one of the few people who I believe has raised copyright in the past (I seem to recall something about it in the recent trailers- though i may have you mixed up with somebody else...)

I have to disagree with the idea that an erosion of values or going against ones morals cannot be a one step approach.  I would agree that it is usually a slow erosion and I even agree that each individual needs to make an attempt to prevent it in their lives (more for their own sake and their own well being than any other reason.)  However, I can tell you that every now and then circumstances can force your hand and you may have to erase every line you have ever drawn and start over; You may have to take the core of your identity and place it aside only to start from scratch rebuilding your personal value system (albeit, I am no longer talking about copyright law, but rather morals and values in general.)

I suspect that we may not be that far apart on the issue...

Shit, noory on the View...

Robert Zimmerman  needs to take his talents over to Dark Matters where they shall not be wasted.  After he lost his son, George Schwimmer became a believer in the afterworld, but with all the static I was catching on the radio, I didn't quite understand how he went from there to Edgar Casey and Atlantis and all that.  Still, he was genuine and sincere and I liked what he said about how our souls are created from pieces of God.  George is in New York for the much anticipated "View" appearance.  He said "they drove me through Times Square," because God forbid he should have to walk amongst the rabble.  And, being the trivia nut that he is, George informed us that "New York is part of the United States."  I'm thinking that was the only tidbit he could come up with on the fly, sans google.  I'm hoping his View appearance goes something like this:

Whoppie: "You really believe in all that stuff?  Ufos and aliens and bigfoot?"
George:  "You can't rule it out."
Whoppie: "Yeah, but you're always saying you're 'convinced' about this stuff."
     George:  "Well that's true too."
Barbara Walters: "What does that mean?"
Whoppie: "I hear you do a little show on youtube."
     George:  "It's a tv show...internet based."
Barbara Walters:  "What does that mean?"
Whoppie:  "Did you really say Osama Bin Ladin was like Jesus?"
     George: "I never said that."
Whoppie: "Sure you did.  You wanna hear the tape?"
     George: "Tommy?..."
     Whoppie: "Roll the tape, guys."
     George:  "...Tommy?"

As usual, Bob Zimmerman was excellent. Entertaining, with all the facts at his fingertips.

Spare a thought for astroguy, whose life has been turned inside out and upside down by the Colorado floods.

Or perhaps when Whoopi brings up her Guinan character from Star Trek: NG George won't have realized there was such a show and will keep asking her about Kirk and Spock.  And confusing Guinan with GaiaTV.

But as George says - it's better to be embarrassed in front of a national audience, than to put any effort in.

What a dolt.  Spent the whole time telling crappy stories and showing ghost videos.  Four minutes total.

Here to offer the first official review of George Noory and his toupee on the VIEW

I enjoyed the fact that the tape holding down his pet rug on his head was so evident.. couldn't the makeup artist do anything or did they purposely leave it so white?

Too bad George didn't mention that he really, really didn't write that book. Rosemary knows..

Amazing that he was able to get away with promoting photos and videos of 'ghosts' that have mostly been debunked online for the past five years. But Whoopi didn't know.

Why did George use his hands so much, and why does he look like a puppet? In all honesty, hand use is fine, but do the Bill Clinton finger/thump pump. Instead George leaves his hands lifeless like a fish out of water, flapping them around at times that don't even go with the words he says. Odd.. Awkward.

I don't think the audience knew what to think.

Is George going to be on the Oprah network next?

Meanwhile, DARK MATTER rules.

The waving hand thing was strange. I agree - the audience was kind of "huh?".

I'm not sure that was toupee tape. I took a good look at it, and it looks like he has white sideburns under the rug.

When did Whoopi start looking like a bad jack-o'-lantern ?

Valid point on the white sideburns!
And yes, Whoopi became Big Whoop

I seem to be caring less and less about this nincompoop. I don't even bother to tune in to c2c when George is on. It seems Art's return has washed away all my negativity regarding this guy and his horrible dog and pony show.  He just so doesn't matter anymore.  I am finally free of him.
And I'd like to add, that Art's, seamless, last 3 performances on Dark Matter inclines me to think that
there's gong to be some major changes at coast in the coming months.  IMO it's not survivable in it's current form.  I think Bell is a heck of a lot more popular than anyone realizes.

On a side note I have a sirius starmate 7 up for sale here (in a fairly small town) on a local online ad. I've had 2 people call in the last day wanting to buy it for Art's show. I had to tell them they needed a siriusxm radio not the one I've got for sale.  They were both scrambling for a cheap radio.

Can someone please put up a video of snoory time on the view. thanks my awesome friends.
BTW Captain George Noory you suck so I'm sending you some pizza rolls with some coal.

Someone must have a video of the View appearance?

To repeat "fotd," what a dolt.  Whoopi was able to contain herself . . . barely, from bursting out in laughter.  I could hear some giggles from the audience.

Dave truly out nooried himself . . . BWHAAAAA!!!!!  ;D

No, it's definitely tape, you can see it in other videos of George, its shiny, I thought at first it might be white sideburns as well but the fact that it's shiny made me think its tape.

Either way....who cares.

Dark Matter does indeed rule.

Oh I have got to see this..

On the View Jorch tells a shtory about a  doll that was cursed by a slave 100 years ago. The doll is given to a child who talks to it and the parents can hear the doll talk to the kid.
Of course the best part is Noory breaks out his evil little voice impression that sound so familiar It makes me think of the spooky voice prank.  Awful
The best part is The nooryism on national TV!
When describing the ambulation of the cursed doll Noory claims " The neighbors could see the doll walking across the windows."

Whoopie looked uncomfortable and I was embarrassed for both of them.

No worries, that show is a daily embarrassment.

I watched the whole show, since George was on at the end.  Is that what daytime TV is?  Do people really watch that?  Ugh!

This show is a much bigger waste of time than even the junk that's on at night, but they still kept George away from the other hosts and guests.  It was just him and Whoopi, pre-recorded.

The same old spiel about how interested he is in the paranormal and how he's had experiences since he was a kid, yawn.  Tommy even slipped in some Ancient Aliens cue cards:  'people want to know why we're here, where we came from, and what happens when we die'.  Or whatever it was he said.  I'm surprised he didn't work in his 8 hours of show prep.

It was my first time watching this show. This couldn't possibly be considered entrainment. Product placement and some country singer twerking. WTF.
I feel so old and disconnected to the youngsters these days.
Jenny M still looks as hot as ever.  Everytime I see her my mind immediately pictures her sitting naked on a toilet with trendy shoes on

Just watched the View segment. That was the least genuine interview I've seen.
Whoopi -"Why can't we see anything happen on camera with a ghost? "
Nooron - "You can, heres some examples"
straight to video.

I wish I could download that video from the Views site. I'd have fun editing it.
