First let me start off by telling you I'm an anesthesiologist and an amateur chronometer.
You had to know that somebody was going to ask... Is there any more powerful sedative than Coast in it present day incarnation and how close is the FDA to registering it as the worlds first acceptable form of anesthesia?  (Actually, I think that I read something about sound being used to prevent dental pain during root canals once- but I doubt that was FDA approved for general use.)

Very shtrange, I'm listening to 40's music and 60's music at the same time right now to test it??
That's great.t  I haven't tested it out but that's what they say on the Canadian website.

Roy Hinkley

Well.... I listened for quite a while, and had two stations going.  Now I get "Stream stopped, you are no longer authorized to listen" on one.  However if I hit play again, it plays.  It has stopped a few times now with this notice, but if I hit play again it will play for a while.

As other poster said, maybe you can listen to the same station on two, but not different stations?

Yeah, I'm getting errors more often now with two different stations.  Usually it's the internet radio, but sometimes the internet connection on the computer.  Seems it will run for a while with two different stations, then you will start to error out (in my case anyway).

Yeah it looks like there is an issue. I am getting the 1001 error.

Someone  said the Total Recorder might have a 90 minute timer on it. I recorded over 90 minutes with no problem using the "Record" selection.

I have been listening to a live program for two hours continuous with no timer appearing. I have not touched the keyboard or mouse in that interval.

Yesterday, after about 90 minutes, the program stopped because of "inactivity". I think I may have been listening to a previously recorded program.

Someone said if you set it to record an upcoming program it will not stop at 90 minutes or error out due to inactivity either.

I love the various directions this thread has taken over the years.  With the latest being the George Noory / satellite radio technical support forum it must signal the end of Noory for most of us.  George can give a "shout out" to coastgab and upon arrival, his listners will find that the section of the board once dedicated to Noory has moved on to support one another in how best to sign up for and start receiving streaming broadcasts.

I need to learn to proof read... it really looses something (and makes me appear stupid) when I ask about the worlds first anesthesia rather than asking about the worlds first audio anesthesia...

You can log in on different devices but only to one channel at a time is my understanding. First device logged in is the boss.
I tested it yesterday and I was able to tune to 2 different channels at the same time, one on my desktop PC and the other on my netbook PC via wifi, using my router sharing my cable internet connection.

The 90min timer is purportedly in the Sirius PC player app, not Total Recorder.
The Sirius PC player app in your PC browser will pop up an alert window every 90min to be sure you are physically there. You have about 5min to click on the alert or the stream will stop.
The recording software (Total Recorder, etc) is independent of that but can't prevent the Sirius PC player from doing its own 90min timer alert.
So if recording a 3-4 hour show, you should check it at 90min intervals to be able to click on the pop up alert.

LOL!  Hey, but it's the most useful thing on here lately too!

Thanks Morgus for the update.  That really sucks that we won't be able to record the program without actually being around.  I was hoping to record it sometimes when I wasn't around, to listen to later and/or keep certain shows.

For the above statement, I'm referring to Bill from Hartford.
I know nothing of these mind altering substances that you speak of your honor.

Well, you made me do it. I had to call India and spoke to someone and I quote "Let's see if ve can help vid dat vone." I had previously had said at least two times my email and password. He asked 3 sentences in, "do you have a passvord?" Hardly a brain trust or maybe he's had some of that stuff that And The Rest (aka Roy Hinkley) is speaking of, and the support guy's high in orbit right now.
All I know is that it "magically" vorks I mean works now after I gave my phone number. The bastards wanted a phone number to tie to an account. Watch out you all I smell spam (and their ain't no eggs,,,, or dolphins).

Maybe we have a different app? I'm using the iphone one and I've looked through it over and over and see nothing.

I also see it as a bit of a "no gabber left behind" kind of a mission when I read it.  Nobody  wants to see a member here left without access to Art.  There are people setting up live broadcasts and others helping those with access to XM get their players working while still others are helping everybody find the correct channel and posting the countdown so that nobody misses it.  Hell, there is one person sneaking behind enemy lines shout the news that Art is back on live broadcasts and another making up internet trailers for the new show to help spread the word to those who may have given up hope and stopped listening altogether.

No doubt that those who evacuated Dunkirk would be proud of the effort to help everybody abandon the "coast" of radio mediocrity.

Sorry I misunderstood you. I am using the browser in my computer.

I hate using Flash, it's full of bugs and shit. Just like George Noory.

I signed up to listen via the free link, thanks I forgot who that was many pages back, and I still can't log on. In the signup it says wait up to 10 business days? Really? How long did it take for most of you to be activated? Thanks.
George who?

"You won't let me speak Clyde! Why won't you let me speak!"

Not sure what the problem is with your sign-up.  I went with the "30 day free trial, no credit card" and got a quick email from Sirius with my password.  No problem using it to sign-in and have been listening to Sirius programs with no issues.

LOL - great Indian accent!

Did you like the "And The Rest" comment? I forgot how long "the movies star and the rest...." went on for.

Anyway, I've had too many infuriating conversations with these fools. I know one of their favorite lines is "I'm sorry. Ve von't be able to help vid dat one." This guy just used a variant.

LOL.  Good post, you're right, everyone is helping out to make sure we can get that show tomorrow.  After this huge build-up, I really hope there are no technological glitches tomorrow night, and that everything goes smoothly for Mr. Bell's first night back!

;D So true.  We'll all soon be recovering, after a frustrating ten year long siege, by gathering around around our "radios" with Art "Churchill" Bell to help settle "the Matter."  ;)
