The long, national nightmare is finally over.

     Kudos to Robert Young Pelton  for not playing the Hastings martyrdom game, and for being a level headed guy in general who's always worth a listen.  M.J. Rose  was cool too, and I dug the story of the dabbling in the occult by Victor Hugo. "Now that's the French novelist, right?"  Yessiree, George, who towards the end of the night spoke of the great reviews his tv show was getting (from where I don't know), and reminding us that "the program airs on Fridays, but keep your eyes, because that could flex as well."  Because I was considering gouging out my eyes over all this, but I won't now, because things could flex, and ... huh?  What?  Classic George, stumpling through the English language with a chainsaw.  Ah, but the gods of Hubris' revenge have not forsaken us, rising the Kingdom of Knye to shine a light on, and to crush the reign of the rampant mumblings and ditherings of mediocrity unbound.  Hope is alive.  Long live the King.

Georgie closed with "The one and only Coast to Coast AM" - interesting comment with our new great news about Mr. Bell.  You go ahead and claim it Georgie, you ruined it, it's yours now.

I think we can expect more feeble attempts like this from George.  He is going to let everyone know how frightened he is, and that je thinks Art owes him something.


I would guess Art will play all his old bumpers and George will drop them.  I really hope Art opens his show with The Chase and that George changes his opener.


George should leave now, while he's on top.   Because according to that contract extension, he has 'incredible talent', puts out 'riveting' shows, and each year 'takes the program to new heights'.  He must have plenty of other offers too, right?  Right?  George?

I can't imagine they'd ask for evey person's email considering that message only went out to "insiders" but in the event they do, just say you can't remember which account you signed up with. Even if you can't get through to Dave, be sure to mention Art, or ask the screener how they like working for the dumbest guy in radio.

I stopped listening to George a long time ago as I can't deal with his lack of ability any longer . However , I know many here can't resist the temptation to follow his inabilities and I am curious to know , have any of you noticed any changes in George since Art's return has been announced ?

Is his voice quaking in fear ?

Is he excepting more " oh your Great George " calls ?

Has he stopped mentioning Art's name at the end of his shows ?

Have any Art fans gotten through to George

And on a side note , how long after Art's return will they start to phase George out ?

Knowing how George is I would say its a safe bet that its only a matter of time until he starts to lose it on air .

Hmmm but then again George has been losing it for a long time now and it might be hard to tell
