I really don't think I could be more disenfranchised at this current point in time. When you read history and you read about the fall of regimes like the USSR and how it seemed completely insane to most of the population, that's how I feel about this current time. I can honestly say I don't trust or even have positive regards for anyone the media puts in front of us. I think most to all of it is a concocted lie. And I think just about everyone the media puts in front of me is either trying to consciously or unconsciously destroy my ability to have a free and successful life.

The response especially from state governors and media to this manufactured crisis makes me think we're on the verge of a tipping point.

Watched a Netflix documentary a few months ago on possible pandemics where they spent the entire series fluffing balls of globohomo scum. Really made me think if anything happened in the future, it would be a clusterfuck. Sure enough, it went pretty much exactly as I thought. Also the seeding and pre-programming of this event was bretty gud.

Also was amused to read that the main model the US Government is using to determine their actions is based on the work from the University closest to me which virtually guarantees this entire thing is a scam.

My mother is working as FEMA subcontractor coordinator and my father goes to the hospital a few times a month for his health conditions. Both say fuck all is happening in the hospitals here.

Having grown up on guys like Cooper, Orwell and Bezmenov, I feel mainly amused about all of this. This is a bretty gud con.

How is it that the funeral industry suddenly is so overwhelmed that people are left to rot in hallways? Either this is far deader than they are telling us, or they are manufacturing a headline. My post was basically stating the stats are incomplete due to lack of time and number of test kits, and one incomplete early data set isn't any better than another incomplete data set. Even with hindsight and complete data, there are situations where there are no good answers.

What percentage of the population will suffer permanent damage to their health, or die in a year? Which will damage the economy the least, soft quarantine or business as usual? This is unknown, and asking for a years worth of data today, in a 4 month old situation.

The stock market was already poised to crash even without the virus, due to Saudi & Russia getting into an energy price war, causing the bottom to fall out of the energy markets worldwide. The Fed pumped $320 billion into the repo markets before Corona was known, trying to keep the market liquid. Corona merely expedited & compounded an already bad situation. Currently whichever way the government decides to go they are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

The USA has for profit healthcare industry, unlike Canada. In 2018 $3.65 trillion USD,($1.42CAD = $1USD), or $11,172USD ($15,640CAD) per person was spent on health care. The U.S. healthcare industry is around 18% of the economy. That 18% is larger than the total GDP of Canada.

If the USA takes the business as usual approach to the virus, and hospitals get overwhelmed, like has been reported elsewhere. Causing hospitals to break down even for a few weeks. Not only will it have an impact on the economy, but more importantly it will disrupt an essential service. A service just as important to our thinly veiled civil society as water, food, electricity. Causing many deaths not related to SARS-2 in the process. This scenario harms 18% of an already fucked economy, and more importantly disrupts an essential public service for an unknown amount of time. When people are desperate is when they are most prone to, and accepting of extreme ideologies (communism, capitalism, fascism.)

This soft quarantine will only slow the spread of the virus not stop it. In the process disrupting large swaths of the working class economy also. This isn't just Boomer Flu. Early data shows that around 33% of the sick/dead in hospitals with COVID-19 are 45 and under. Again, no matter what the government does they are damned.

Yet the government has already taken care of those who they really work for, the money is speech Donor Class. Handing out trillions of USD, without enough strings attached, for the wealthiest 1000 people/corporations (CEO bonus tiem). In what is only the first round, of what will eclipse 2008 bailouts. That ain't Capitalism, Bellgabbers. Have we ever lived in a capitalistic society? We all too often have socialism for the rich and rugged free market capitalism for the poor.

The spirit animal of Neo-Capitalism is obviously a shark, if it stops moving it dies. Why is such a glorious economic system so fragile? Who would've known a system that abhors abundance, in favor of scarcity for extracting profits from the masses was flawed? Hummm...

I live in bumfuck egypt but i would expect something to be happening and it's not. I know a lot of baristas of the medical world who spend most of their careers gossiping in the break room in between patching up niggers with holes in them and wiping asses. But even before my Jayden's moms revelation i think the my tipping point was when Tom Hanks and the NBA all got pozzed.

We all see different things I guess.  For me, I was impressed with the guy in red's arm at the 10 second mark.  He had to truncate his delivery due to a nearby fellow hooligan but he still got off a great throw.  If the chunk of rubble he threw connected, that shit would hurt.

With an honorable mention to rebar spear guy in white at the 24 second mark.  The boys in blue were long gone by then but fighting spirit like that has to be admired.
