Boomers are not responsible for your failures in life nor are liberals nor are RINOs nor are blacks nor are globalists nor are those who you attack on these boards who disagree with you.   But you just keep spending your days writing angry posts as a means of self excusal and transference if it makes you feel better about yourself.  If you have amounted to nothing else you hold the distinction of being the most prolific and truculent kvetch on BG.

First, you attack with personal ad hominem. Always the sign of a weak or, in your case, no argument. Next, excluding blacks that aren’t currently being imported as cheap labor they’re all responsible for bringing the standard of living for most down in this nation and the rest of the modern world by importing cheap labor from the third world. Policies you supported and still support all while your greedy ass refused to retire to make way for the next generation. Pathetic hypocrite.

I just sold a couple of North 7700 series respirators to a surgeon today. I know that they will protect his staff, but the one way valve means that his exhalation will be unfiltered (unless he puts something over it.) I don't know if they are of any use in most medical environments. He did say that the company he uses to sterilize them will be able to handle them, and I know he plans on just wiping down the housing of the cartridges with alcohol. N95 stands for "not oil resistant" and filters 95% of the .3 micron and larger particles. P100's are oil proof and filter 99.97% of the .3 micron and larger particles. They are actually better...

Anyhow, now that the evil MV has killed the PM system, I will just ask you on the open board. Are they any use to you? If so, I will ship you a mask (I'm down to small size) and a few cartridges postage due for nothing...

Google "north 7700 and 7580P100 to see what they are Before any of you bastards accuses me of gouging or profiteering, I had the respirators for upward of 4 years (since we had to change our respiratory code of practice and I chose a different brand.) I sold them to the surgeon for less than retail (and you presently cannot find them anywhere but ebay and amazon where they are going for 4-5X retail...) Ladyfish can have it for the price of shipping. Hopefully she remains safe...
WOTR, thank you for your very generous offer. I am only familiar with the disposable paper type N95 masks & I wouldn’t know how to use such a fancy one or if it would be the correct size/ fit for me. I work on a medical floor, not in the ICU, and the regular surgical type masks vs the N95 would be sufficient for my usual tasks (non-aerosol generating) per current CDC guidelines. I live in the mid-west, and not in one of the current hotspots, so hopefully my states turn for additional supplies will come.

I’m not in a high risk group, so I’ll be fine - but my husband is in a higher risk group; hence, not wanting me to work extra to increase my potential exposure.

Why don't they just rent the big meat lockers that the Saudi's, our 'gallant' arab allies in the first gulf war, secured fm, I believe german companies, to collect all the bodies of the expected dead Americans?  What's that?  Bury the dead in the sacred soil of Saudi?  ARE YOU HIGH?  Or maybe we can have  germany draft some oldsters and have them run the fireboxes 24/7?
Spittake. That is so offensively hilarious! Thank you for making my lock-down more enjoyable.

Well the saga of the Holland America cruise ship MS Zaandam continues.  It originally left Buenos Aries and was supposed to hit a number of South American ports.
Didn't work out that way.  Of course some passengers and crew got sick.  They had four deaths and not a single South American country would let them dock. So they decided to make for Fort Lauderdale.
They must have rounded Cape Horn at some point because the Panamanians stopped them at the Canal for several days - not allowing any ship with a positive COVID-19 case to transit the canal.
While they were waiting for that to get worked out - Holland America sent the MS Rotterdam to rendezvous with the Zaandam and they transferred all the "healthy" passengers off of the plague ship.

Panama finally caved in and allowed both vessels to transit the Canal and they are both in the Gulf now.  However, Florida is now bucking up saying they don't want passengers "dumped" there.
Looking at their current positions on the map, looks like they might be making for Nicaragua?  I am no shipping lane expert but if they were headed to Fort Lauderdale, I'd expect them to be headed North and not NW.
Just spoke with a friend who was on another world cruise. Wild stuff. Basically got back ok last week but were leaving Sri Lanka and Capt announced something like "if you can I would make plans to get home as quickly as possible. India has shut the port." So they went back to Oz and managed to get a flight. 14 hrs from Melbourne to DFW and then another to Dulles. Said nobody checked their temp upon reentry to USA and weird scene cause airports almost empty. And shitty because could only get seats in coach and so "ankles swelled." On the good side she said that they were refunded most of the costs since cruise had just begun (which was approx $30K each.)

Well funny what "Yahoo News" is reporting....especially since "old news" and even more interesting is that they quickly switch to a likely paid piece from the SPLC about 'worrying rise in white nationalism' in the video portion of their "news."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/suspected-sars-virus-and-flu-found-in-luggage-fbi-report-describes-chinas-biosecurity-risk-144526820.html

"Inspection of the writing on the vials and the stated recipient led inspection personnel to believe the materials contained within the vials may be viable Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) materials,” says an unclassified FBI tactical intelligence report obtained by Yahoo News. The report, written by the Chemical and Biological Intelligence Unit of the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate (WMDD), does not give the name of the Chinese scientist carrying the suspected SARS and MERS samples, or the intended recipient in the U.S. But the FBI concluded that the incident, and two other cases cited in the report, were part of an alarming pattern."

I guess being in quarantine gives everyone a chance to catch up on their old investigations they let slip? ;)

Letting prisoners free will certainly help our fight against this Chinese virus and ensure better domestic tranquility and safety.  :o But even sex offenders and rapists? Democrats using the virus as an excuse to release child rapists! In NY State Level 3 Sex Offender means very high risk of re-offending. But released. Local PD wasn't even informed, much less parents. If anyone deserves this latest Chinese Virus it would be them but instead Democrats release and give them rooms at the Holiday Inn Express on the tax-payer's dime?

https://www.wivb.com/news/level-3-sex-offenders-among-inmates-released-from-monroe-county-jail/

That is absolutely great! Level 3 sex offenders released to a holiday inn. What a great time for social experiments... I don't know if I would want to be the one providing room service for violent sex offenders just released from prison...

Check this out.  I have a passing acquaintance with someone in the funeral industry in Spokane, runs the cream*atorium.  He has just been notified that he is to stand by to receive Italian corpses for disposal.

*ever wonder what goes into your coffee?  It's cream!  So looks like there will be a surge of sweet Italian cream for coffee around the INW.

WTH?  Were they low bidder or something?  What is the air freight cost on a batch of infected bodies?

That is bizarre. Even with the cheap rates of fuel and flights these days due to Saudi/Russia price-war and the Corona-Chan it would seem expensive to ship dead Eyeties to the great Inland Empire for burning! Especially since Spokane has shut down the steamplant and turned into a restaurant.

Luckily I take my coffee black or corretto. Which has some Italian stuff in it but not dead ones.....

I was going to say that too al but I knew paladin would just turn it into a lewd joke about me “taking it black.” ;)

Cruise ship shuffle still ongoing in Miami.   They come in - offload non-essential crew, hang out for a bit, replenish I guess and then head out to bone yard and anchor.

Pretty wild GLP post - if true.

Sure.  Some dude in Hawaii,  supposedly got some package out of the blue from Wuhan, Hubei Provence, Peoole's Republic of China.
Didn't order anything and the box had a creepy "Smile.  Happy Every Day" graphic on it once opened.  Now they are tripping balls..................

That is some trippy stuff. And why no knife. Just spoon and fork? Odd. I like how he blacks out, or attempts to do so, the bar codes. I do that on everything also before I throw it away (in at least two different places.) But apparently with some of the nano tech RFID equivalent are even being put in to the products. Katherine Albrecht (no relation) a redhead that I'm sure RCH would go after mentioned something along those lines some time ago.

Never let a good crisis go to waste! Abolish the family, say Democrats.

"In short, the pandemic is no time to forget about family abolition."

https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/oureconomy/coronavirus-crisis-shows-its-time-abolish-family/

Even worse the family "makes us believe we are ‘individuals.’"
