New parents ARE pretty stupid. I raised my son. Didn't want him to have all the caffeine in Coke. I would only let him drink Mountain Dew. Who knew it had more caffeine?  It wasn't coffee colored.

I think there needs to be some shades of gray here also. There are separate arguments. There is the safety aspect of the bio-chemical and GMO industries and there is also the non-competitive/cartel bad business practices of those industries. Both not, necessarily, the same. The latter has been proven and they've been convicted or settled in court. The former needs honest, transparent scientific investigation.
