Well, this was a great show even if you don't agree with the guest! Thanks for listening everyone!
Yes it was, PrairieGhost, thanks to Amy.  She handled it with vigilance, and aplomb.

Kudos Amy!  See you tonight. ;D

So, a Monsanto apologist last night and tonight a Muslim apologist? Hopefully it's not that. I'm trying to keep an open mind here but this show is taking an unexpectedly big brotherish turn lately.  :-\
He born, and maybe raised as a Jain, not Islam, which is an Indian religion where the swastika is a major symbol and though non-violent Jains, Hindus, etc over there don't like Muslims any more than the sane people here do. But now he is an atheist who sold his soul on Ebay.

My bad! I should've researched it before chiming in but I'm multitasking right now and I knew someone would correct me if I was off course. Thanks guys!

FYI... this is the most I've ever had to read during one show sitting.

Well done, guys & gals, well done.  8)

You rocked this last show. Truly great stuff. Every show gets better. Keep up the good work.

Oh. He's that guy.  I read about this. Unfortunately, I can't stick around for the interview. Fortunately, I can download it later  8)

"atheist who sold his soul on Ebay" If he is an atheist than didn't he committed various types of fraud when he sold his soul on Ebay?

Thank you.  Great news, then.
Interesting... A Muslim talking about it would not have been acceptable- but an atheist is.  Please, Amy... For the love of Allah the flying spaghetti monster... Only expose us to what we are comfortable with.

Regardless, I look forward to (hopefully) catching tonight's show.  I had read his book years ago and found that he was fair minded in most of his criticisms of religion in general...  Maybe things have changed (we all seem to become more militant in our views as time goes by,) we will see...

It seems like after one of these Allah-inspired shootings we always get lectured by the mainstream media about how it's not Islam's fault, about how it really doesn't have anything to do with it and about how we should crackdown on homegrown extremists and impose stricter gun laws. Did you really want to hear that...on Amy's show?!  ???

Anyway, I'm glad it probably won't be that now.  :)

No batteries required. Don't forget the pig.  ;)

I removed the vid because I realized that there's actually a bit of bush flashed for a few seconds and I thought it was just smutty dialogue.  Praise MV! ;)

Amy's studio is hot with no AC and her board was overheating and her laptop overheated and shut down. She is rescheduling. Sorry for the late update here but I was picking a replay and letting everyone know across social media and here...

( Amy )

Guys/gals,

Closed door to studio.
Heat just shut down laptop and my board is very hot to touch.
Will have to be a replay for now.  reached breaking point.

Need to solution this tonight. Willing to go for a window unit now.
Hearing occasional neigbbor's dog= better than no show.

Suggestions welcome.

Amy, I'm not trying to be a broken record but...Patreon.  ;)

Air conditioners are obviously needed for this operation. Get some funding. I'm sure you have enough fans now that probably some of them would be willing to help you out with financial contributions.  ;) ;)

A temp fix is a fan and some pliable freezer packs near your laptop air intakes.  Also put a cake or cookie cooling rack under your laptop.  This has helped keep my laptops alive for several years now. ;)

You should just ask MV if it's alright and then post the link here. I'm encouraging it so obviously it's not going to bug me but I can't speak for anyone else.  ;)

Oh yeah.  There are laptop racks that come with a fan.  I don't like them.  They blow air, and dust, into the laptop.

( Amy )

Modem just overheated too. So internet down anyway.

Thanks Starr. I have one and it's not much use though.
Just blows warm air back into it. The air vent is on the side and unobstructed.
The bottom is made of plastic. My older laptop had a metal bottom and it would benefit from sitting on my other steel top workbench.

I'm worried more about the mixer. It has no fan and no viable cooling options outside of ambient room temp.
It's a beast and sits to the other side of the laptop.

What are the dimensions of your room, Amy?

akwilly

Amy have you considered moving to a cooler climate? It would save you money because you wouldn't have to buy fans.

What are the dimensions of your room, Amy?

11 ft x 15 ft roughly.

Total wattage of running equip: 862.4 W

Windows face south and west. House is brick and seems to heat up like an oven.

Yep, that's your problem right there. Brick house and facing west with evening sun.
