For your listening pleasure:
I have an idea for a video... It'll take a while if I were to do it but, if somebody loves Photoshop and wants to do it I'll gladly share the idea in a direct message and let you run with it. I think it would be rather funny...

Based on his social media posts, I see Keith's actions as covering his ass, big time.

He's made it clear that she has expressed she's not interested in coming back and, if she were ready to come back she would have a job. Maybe not the same job, but he would fit her in.

So, if she goes to unemployment, he can argue that he did not fire her and she has an opportunity to come back.  Ta-da!  She'll never win that battle.

Nevada law maybe different than California law but she may qualify for unemployment if the circumstances were different (her refusing to work kind of changes her chances) even though she may be a 1099er.

Did I make sense.  I mean. I'm writing about Heather Leona Wade...

I would bet money she is a contract employee not a W2 employee. No unemployment.

Heather is a terrible host.  Absolutely awful.  Fake voice, fake laugh (ugh!), she comes across as condescending, entitled.
She has to know she's bad.  The declining listenership and subscriptions have to tell her that.  And Art is no longer there to convince her otherwise

Now she no longer has Art Bell to pal around with, so what's the point?

And Keith:  the dream's over.  Without the Art Bell name, you're almost certainly not going to pull in enough subscriptions to make this thing worth the time and effort, no matter who you get to host.  Heather did you a favor.  Pull the plug.

In California, I could 1099 you but, if you're strictly working for me at a fixed location (the "studio"), due to the requirements of the job... That takes it into another level and, at that point, your employment status changes and, yes, you could qualify for unemployment along with workman's comp and various other benefits at a regular salaried or hourly employee would get.

I just happen to know that for California, who knows about Nevada.  I mean, they still have legalized prostitution...

The name Heather reminds me of Highlander. We all know what happened to her.

He's having technical issues, JBW. that is.  I think he's a little too full of himself to enjoy,.  jmo

Hasn't he ALWAYS had technical issues?  Yeah, he was much better when he was on C2C than after he got his own show going IMO

timebandit

I'm sorry to see it end this way and by some miracle I hope she returns.

What was the commute time between the house and cuckshed?

3 shots fired and 1 underfoot cat tripping.

I only made it a few sentences before I had to bail.  Mad props to that guy though for having the bravery to rock an HTML 1.0 web site in 2018.

That site is light years beyond HTML 1.0. It's mobile responsive, brings in a bunch of CSS and JavaScript that didn't even exist when HTML 1.0 was current, and seems to be developed with some amount of PHP and WordPress hacks.

Its aesthetics are definitely going for that "ugly mid-late 90s website," sure, but it's using reasonably modern technology.

I think if Bateman, and MV alternated shows, they could fill in more than enough subscriptions IMO.

After listening to the art bell audiobook transmission, I suddenly have a différent take on this. Art played à recordING of his younger self doing pirate radio.  His voice 50 years ago sounded over_the_top, step_right_up and buy_à_ticket circus hawker. I couldn’t have put up with that version of voice for long. It was a lot like heather is now. There’s still hope for her.

Art was 20 then. 19 maybe. Heather is 43 years old. There is no hope. Her vagina looks like a dirty sweat sock and her mind has entered the catlady vortex.

That was age, smoking and testosterone  that brought Art down.

Heather's well past puberty, physically.  Mentally, that's another story.

Is she going to end up like Solaris Blue raven, doing the odd podcast hère and there with a main gig of fortune telling with rosegirl ? ?

Art sent out the Drone video's because he knew he was going to die soon. The music and wave are obvious now. I find many people seem to know about 90 days out. Heather slept with him. Count on it. She wanted some of his seed before he died. A roast beef push in the cuckshed. Her hot garlic breath on his ear. Sperm that smelled of cigarettes. It's coming!

If you give the womens the idea that they can get money... It takes away all the freebies.  I can tell you right now that McDonald's has raised their prices!

DAMN I was hoping for Hulk Hogan to take over.

I'd rather hear Harry Houdini.

😆 She’s not gonna come back here.

Actually, wait. She may come back under a new name to trash the new host.
I wouldn’t put it past her; she did urge listeners to bash a guest host.

And Heather's social media links on the Midnight in the Desert website are now gone. See ya! lol

OMG it was hilarious!

Damn, was this guy full of himself.  I mean, hearing him read his praises of himself... whether they were legitimate or not..  was kind of over the top.

QuoteBrad:  I've never met Heather. Like everyone else, I only know her from the radio. But I'm saddened by some of the extremely negative comments being directed toward her. I'm a radio guy myself and I was truly impressed by the professional growth Heather showed...

Chris: Yep, she was really becoming her own person on the air. Everyone expected her to be Art Bell. She not, and no one ever will be. But she was really getting good being Heather wade.....

Off the home page but still on the contact page.

I wonder if Keith cut off her access to her email.

I want to be the first to congratulate bateman on taking over MiTD! It’s been a strange trip since that fateful night Heather called him to ‘rattle his cage’.  :)

That would be so fucking funny if it happened.
