Perhaps it's a door thing for both of you.  You know how one door must close in order for a new door to open onto a new path.  Either that, or you both had something to learn from one another before moving onward and upward.

Without having listened to the show for the past few nights or knowing anything about the issues involved, I predict Rosegirl will be back.

I hope so.  I agree with the people who have said the two of them together had a rare sort of magic not heard that often on radio.  If you compare their radio partnership to a marriage, compromising would be needed to make it work.  Nancy would have to agree to attempt to dominate the conversation less, and RoseGirl would have to agree to try to be more assertive to the point of occasionally being rather pushy to make sure she got near equal talking time.  I was interested in hearing *both* their points of views, and too often it was more Nancy's viewpoint than Lasha's (who, being polite, was deferring to the more Alpha personality that is Nancy).  As a partnership, for it to work so that Lasha didn't feel so much a "second banana," this discrepancy would need to be resolved.  It would probably take a lot of trying and patience on *both* their parts.  However, I think that could be done if both parties were motivated.  I think, in honor of the recognition of the rare magic they had together on air, despite Nancy's,... err... domineering personality (sorry, Nancy, just calling a spade a spade) that sincere thought should be given towards trying to work together again.

And, she also has a radio voice that SO ROCKS!  Seriously, if Lasha starts doing GabCast Shows, I predict the increasing  BellGab membership, will escalate once she becomes known.

She does have a good radio voice.  She's also very intelligent and that comes through in spades.  And bright enough, with humor, to be witty in a way that makes for fun radio listening.

I will do my very best to remain on air somehow....I am looking into a live chat option for my website and for a twice weekly show, but that may take some time to set up. And, of course, I would be perfectly willing to do a live show on the GabCast or anywhere Keith and Art may suggest. Not a problem.

I will miss Bella-Haven. A lot. We did have a special chemistry and it was great fun, mostly.

2: Who gives a shit about what Hoagland is doing? So the dude has fans. Great. So do you. Be happy for the man and continue making your thing the best that it can be. If there's magic, we'll listen.

Thank you so much Bateman. Some very deep part of me has always known I was meant to do broadcasting...so I certainly hope to continue it. And, of course, from a very early age I knew somehow....in my heart of hearts....that someday I would find a way to do a 'Bedtime with Bateman' segment. So, I will keep you posted.
